CBS Corp. fired a vice president in business affairs Monday for comments she made on social media regarding the mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas. Hayley Geftman-Gold, wrote on her Facebook page that she was not sympathetic to victims of the shooting because, she claimed, most country music fans are Republican. Geftman-Gold also wrote: If they wouldnt do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing. Im actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.

Oh, wait. I just heard it was Facebook. Same comment applies.
Then complain to your state about your soaring taxes. You can’t force the rest of us to subsidize your state’s lavish spending by making us reduce your obligation to the federal government based on how much your state grabs up first.
Don’t fire her. She’ll continue to make more Republicans if you let her stay in her position and make an ass of herself. What kind of politics to Justin Bieber fans have?
She is a perfect example of the elite left.....lawyer, Ivy league educated, big media employee, all topped off with a hyphenated surname. I bet she’s had an abortion, just to burnish her lefty creds....
She’s a member of the tribe. CNN will welcome her into their exclusive club.
More proof that Liberalism is a mental disorder. She can have her photo on the latest Liberal poster entitled Bat-Shit Crazy Liberal Loon.
A VP, not some low employee, an d now we see why the media are scumbags when you have their leadership like this.
She will get a job with the ACLU or the SPLC.
I’m shocked that they apparently did the right thing.
I am not even going to debate the inaccuracies and falsehoods in your post. Not the thread for it. Good luck trolling.
What a disgusting POS. Glad they fired her. See, in her mind, its okay to kill Republicans.
I think whoever hinted at a booze connection had it right. No way a sober person would write that.
Bath salts and social media are an even worse combination!
She went a little heavy on the Manischewitz, no doubt.
Wonder how she made vp, passed the bar exam, passed law school, graduated from high school, was promoted from elementary school.
Mindnumbingly stupid
She'll run for President someday
I got a digital copy so that i could rewind and watch the good parts over and over again.
Very unbecoming of a VP in a major corporation. And I speak as one myself. Do we need any more proof that our media is extremely biased?
She's not important enough to their operation.
And she went too far.
People who are important to the operation -- people in front of the camera -- usually have more of a sense of how far they can go and what they can get away with.
But when they don't, the company's more likely to stick up for its stars than for somebody behind the scenes.
Wow! Color me surprised CBS has the guts to do the right thing.
It's actually a side effect of Globull Warming.
