My only source was the different reporters and commentators on Ch 3 News Las Vegas who I think broke the story first. My Post #4 in this thread was the first of many as I was typing and sending, typing and sending as the news came in. I’m a terrible typist to begin with.
I was typing off the Ch 3 news as it was occuring on my TV set in my motel in Mesquite,NV. 12 minutes from Paddock’s and the girlfriend’s Mary Lou Danley’s house.

20 minutes - wow. I can believe it. The one video shows squad cars and bodies and the crowd fleeing.... and then another bunch of volleys. The singer now live says 10 minutes.
Obviously it will take time for the police to respond, get to the floor, locate the room, etc.

However we have no indication the shooter did this for political reasons.
If his wife worked around hotels casinos maybe it was revenge against an employer? could be anything at this point.
Fox is now saying the shooting went on for 20 minutes. If that is true then the scenario of the cops finding and taking the shooter out is more plausible. But many witnesses are still saying “about two minutes”. Having been shot at a time or two it always seemed longer than it was, not shorter for me anyway.
No law can prevent this type of terrorist attack.
My son was in the VIP area at this concert. Still stuck at the Tropicana waiting to get bused to a pick up area so he can come home. HIs car is parked at the venue.
I am stunned sitting here watching this and realizing how easily it could have been him. I cannot express my gratitude to God that he is coming home, shaken but alive.
I am so sad for all who lost their lives and for their families.
May God receive their souls into His Kingdom and comfort their families.

The perp is 64, but the residence history for for Steve Craig Paddock only goes back to 2001.
