Bombshell: Insider Drops Bomb on AG Jeff Sessions –He Refuses to Prosecute Obama and Clinton Crimes
The Gateway Pundit ^ | October 1, 2017 | Joe Hoft

Posted on 10/01/2017 9:21:05 AM PDT by maggief

Jason Chaffetz, former House of Representatives member and Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was on Justice with Judge Janine Pirro Saturday night and he dropped a BOMBSHELL about Attorney General Jeff Sessions:

(snip)

Judge Janine: Ok, why is he not being charged with a crime?

Chaffetz: I can tell you that while I was in Congress and the Chairman of the Oversight Committee, I did go over and visit with Attorney General Sessions and it was one of the most frustrating discussions I had because whether it was the IRS, Fast and Furious, the email scandal that we went through, I did not see the Attorney General willing to just let Lady Justice administer justice and then follow through. I understood maybe the last six months of the Obama Administration…

Judge Janine: Wait a minute I don’t have that much time. You spoke with Sessions on IRS, Fast and Furious. Did he give you a reason? Did he say he was presenting anything to a grand jury? Yes or no?

Chaffetz: No, he basically let me know he wasn’t going to pursue anything on the major cases.

Judge Janine: So IRS, on the major cases? Are we talking about Hillary Clinton, because I haven’t even gotten to her yet.

Chaffetz: Yes, the email scandal of Hillary Clinton. We had Bryan Pagliano. I issued a subpoena for him to appear before the Committee and he said “No”. He didn’t even show up. We issued another subpoena. The US Marshals served it. And you know in my world, if you’re in court, I guarantee you that a subpoena is not an optional activity. We wanted the Attorney General to prosecute him and he said “No”.

Fundamentally there is a risk to prosecuting Clinton and Obama Administration officials.

That is not to say that it shouldn’t be done, but there is a risk to doing it due to the next time the democRATS run the show, they would invent charges to prosecute Trump administration officials.

Further, the uproar etc. would be complicated to say the least.

As I said, it doesn’t mean is shouldn’t be done. What they need to have is have an ironclad case where there is no question about guilt, no room for politicizing the prosecution as some sort of witch-hunt. They have to plan this out to the last detail.

Everyone here remembers Clinton’s impeachment and how that worked out.

Why is Trump tolerating this, if what Chaffetz says is correct?

I holding out on judgment of Sessions for a while longer...

I just picture in my mind walking into that Dept. with what little we know that has gone on since the poppy bush years...the ‘embedded’ people from Clintons, bushes, obamas, and the back stabbing, disloyalty to our Country behind closed doors, blackmail, some came out a little during the campaign season with Jeb and Cruz...so I think Sessions is in the swamp trying to find the plug to drain it...

I have read everything I could about the guy, I can't find anything that would be a ‘scandal’ about him, he pretty much keeps his head down and his mouth shut...

I know a lot of people on here are not happy with him, but I'm holding on for a while longer, and anything that Jason Chaffetz would say about Sessions, I would question, I'm glad this phony Mormon mafia idiot is gone...we are hoping that Hatch, as bad as he is, is staying so we don't get Egg McMuffin or RAT Romney in there...so take what Jason says with a grain of salt!!!

I’m tired of this mantra that Gowdy and Issa did nothing. They did EXACTLY their jobs. They are Congress. Not the courts, not the jury, they don’t prosecute, render verdicts, sentence, and transport prisoners. They questioned in detail and uncovered the crimes rather easily. They took their case to the press and the public. A junior prosecutor could have easily prosecuted this case. But viola! They were stymied by a Democrat administration who would not prosecute under any circumstances and apparently the present AG is t going to do anything from those public hearings either.

Save the outrage where it belongs. They did constitutionally what we asked of them. Your frustration is far misplaced

They have to to pick their battles. Everything Trump is attempting to accomplish some wacko leftist judge overturns it. Road blocks at every turn.

Unless you want to grab your arms and go to DC and administer justice on Obama, Clinton et al, commie crap is gonna have to slide.

Why is it always that even when we win we don’t actually “really” win? I’m exhausted of this! It’s mindnumbingly exasperating!

It all started back at the formation of the FBI and CIA.
With the CIA because so many of the young men had knowledge of foreign languages and countries it grew rapidly and formed one of our stronger cliques within the government. ITs only dangerous if it’s used against others — like the reports of being used against MLK and JFK

Sessions has let all Dems off the hook, while allowing Mueller to engage in a heavily staffed and funded witch hunt without out any sniff of a reason to have an IG on the case at all.

He has been the biggest single disappointment of the admin.

We at least knew that Jivanka were pushing a liberal NY Democrat agenda. Okay, Trump letting Jivanka staff his WH with liberal Dems from GS and GOPe hacks is at least as disappointing.

Sessions was a plant from the very beginning as insurance for the swamp in the case Trump actually won.

Hard to believe that Sessions was a plant but it sure fits. Or, as Roger Stone tweeted this morning, maybe he has been compromised. I've always thought, as Sen Ben Nelson told a friend of mine, that he just wasn't up to the job.

But the whole thing went down like a practiced dance. They demand JS recusal (for NOTHING) then Rosenstein advises POTUS to fire Comey (for cause) then the screaming about the firing and Russia gets louder and RR appoints Mueller who hires the gang of rat thugs. According to Roger Stone they tried to "make him bear false witness" against Trump and he's trying to get them to release the heaering transcripts but they won't. The whole Manifort thing has to be a replay of the Scooter Libbey ploy - give me Trump or else..even though they already know Trump didn't collude with Russia.

I can't believe - well yes I can - how dirty stinking rotten this is...and our GOPe congress sits and watches.

This a.m. was thinking about the tax code changes - how many foreign countries will HATE that and how much money are they spending with our lawmakers to stop it? There's a lot of talking right now about how corrupt Puerto Rico is but are we really any better? Our bastards just have better suits.

BINGO

Star funerals finish cases better than the judicial department. More finality.

With as ill as certain past presidents and First Ladies appear physically we should have a half dozen within the next 18 months Then the books with the truth will come out

(This month is the release of Kennedy material. Where will Papa B be?)

I think Stone has it right.

Sessions is being blackmailed. That’s the usual practice in DC—and few humans can have such power for so long without there being something good on them.

Communism played the long game infiltrating education, Entertainment, Business, the Military. Many people recognized it, but not enough to to impede their movement.

They have overplayed their hand with President Trump. Obama Admin has done so much damage. The opposition media has supported the left, covered up for them and lied for them.

More and more people are seeing this. The NFL thing is huge. Freedom of speech on college campuses is huge! Revealing Antifa, Black Lives Matter is huge. Getting the military back on track is a huge priority.

The tide has begun to turn. We need to fight the long fight now.

POTUS doesn’t seem that good at keeping his thoughts to himself - maybe we’ll find out what has brought about the change in “Lock Her Up”...if fact if it really has been ultimately changed. Maybe there’s too much at stake? Although I thought this was the point - to clean sweep out the garbage.

I have been willing to give Sessions the benefit of the doubt. My thinking was that it took time to develop cases against the Hillary and other Leftist players.

Part of my reasoning was that Jeff wasn’t sworn in right away either. That was wrong. Sessions was sworn in on 02/09/17.

He is now close to starting his eighth month in office. He has to this date carried out only one major task,... recusing himself from the Trump Russian scandal, so that Meuller could turn this into a witch hunt/fiasco/borderline criminal enterprise.

What major investigation in Clinton criminality has been started? Security breaches, Clinton Foundation irregularities, Benghazi, pay for play, election fraud,... go wanting.

Sessions sits in his office, and we don’t hear one peep out of him. Meuller runs wild, nothing! Clinton goes out and trashes Trump and waits for her party to draft her for 2020, and Sessions leaves her a clean slate?

What action has he taken against Comey and so many others. There must be between 20 and 30 potential cases against these people, and seven out of forty-eight months in, this guy is almost a ghost.

The Swamp still writhes with Leftist activity, in no small measure because Jeff Sessions hasn’t sent a signal he’s hot on at least a dozen different trails, and folks better be nervous.

I’m out of excuses for this guy.

He is his own worst enemy. One word from him about impending cases, investigations, or at least something/anything to give us hope would silence us.

N O T H I N G . . .
