Many other cabinet scretaries travel lavishly on the government dime, but Price FAILED to repeal Obamacare. For that, he’s got to go.
I only wish Ryan and McConnell would resign from “leadership”.

I think it was for more than the travel issue.
Travel is fixable.
To now have to go through a whole new confirmation process is a lot to do right now.

How about a Republican AG that would go after Hillary, Obama’s IRS Appointees and the DNC? Does one exist?

If I try to move one row forward in Coach on travel, my company writes me up...so I really have trouble believing that people in these positions simply get unlimited expense accounts and no instructions on how to use them.
...to put it another way, he wanted out, but without directly making it look like he was sick of working for Trump - so he found another way. Not pretty, not great for Trump, but probably a bit better than a flat-out resignation.
Newt was saying that Price is being targeted by the left because he would be effective in dismantling Obolacare. That all of his travel was pre-approved and authorized.

According to Fox News, the private flights cost over a million dollars. I’m sure the President was none too pleased with that.
I tell you -and it is WITHOUT EXCEPTION, EVER - if you appoint Congressmen or Senators, you are appointing incompetent fools and completely corrupt ones at that - there are no exceptions. Price, Sessions...all of them. If you want honest, competent people in these positions, do not get anyone out of D.C.

I think we underestimate just how easy and seductive that would be. Rather difficult to haggle over “costs” when one has an UNLIMITED source of funds.

He’s had 10 months and accomplished nothing. Newt is wrong. Sure, they may be going after him but only because he’s on Trump’s team not because he’s effective. Didn’t even have a plan
