Here we go again, it is all about the socialists in the cities and to hell with the rest of the state.

Many of us live where electric cars can not get us to where we have to go and home without a recharge and there is no place to recharge them along the way. Not only is there no place to charge them but even if there were it would extend the trip by several hours while we sit and let them charge.

This state needs to be divided. Take the moron socialists who lack any and all concern for the rest of the state and perch them over the pacific. With any luck the big one will hit and their ignorance will take care of itself.

When the Legislature returns in January, Assemblyman Phil Ting plans to introduce a bill that would ban the sale of new cars fueled by internal-combustion engines after 2040.

One more ting, Ting might want to consider: What will happen with all of the internal combustion autos that will still be out there. I don't tink Ting is tinking!

Why don’t they just repeal the law of gravity and we can all float to our destinations

Statute is not sufficient, it would require an amendment to Natural Law. But, since this is a leftist cause, they will likely just take it to the 9th Circuit and get that law repealed there.

It all started in 1849, when every con man and grifter in the eastern US rushed to California, then again in the early 1900’s people with Hollywood dreams came, then the Great Depression drove the nation’s poor and destitute there. All this coupled with a steady flow of illegals from south of the border....................

I’m always conflicted about stuff like this.

On the one hand, having individual states with certain freedoms to do what they want is how the country tests concepts out. California seems extremely eager to be the state of record for how NOT to do everything. If they want to burn (literally and figuratively), let them and let everyone else see.

HOWEVER, the problem is that this drives their people out to other states, where having learned NOTHING, they start to infect and destroy other functional states with the same insane ideas.

The governor has certainly indicated an interest in why China can do this and not California,” she said.

... maybe because China is communist?

Gee, the nuclear power plant at Diablo Canyon is closing in a few years.

Hopefully, the state legislature will push forward with more hiking trails and bike paths.
