The Democratic Left, symbolized by Kaepernick, seeks to portray themselves in resistance to oppression. Yet historically this gets things upside down. Who is the ACTUAL party of racism and oppression? The DEMOCRATS. Who is the actual party that RESISTED oppression? The REPUBLICANS. Here are a few unassailable facts to consider (that the "kneelers" should be reminded of or educated about).

--As historian Ira Katznelson shows, in order to get the New Deal passed, progressive icon Franklin Delano Roosevelt made deals with racist Democrats to block anti-lynching legislation and to exclude African Americans from most New Deal programs.
--More Republicans than Democrats proportionately voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and the Fair Housing Bill of 1968. The main opposition to the civil rights movement came not from the GOP but from racist Democrats.
So are Democrats who pull down Confederate statues and protest the national anthem admitting the historical sins of their party? Are these acts of honest public disclosure and humble contrition?
Not at all. They are actually part of the Left’s big lie. The big lie is to take the historical crimes of the Democratic Party and project them onto someone else. Let’s blame America. Let’s blame the South. Let’s blame the white man. Let’s blame everyone except the people who actually committed those crimes.
Big City Police are run by ‘Rats. Have been for decades.
Same with the Laws.
The big lie that started all this was Ferguson. And Trayvon.

I remember reading articles on “witness statements” for the sweet little Trayvon’s shooting. It was found and verified numerous “witnesses” weren’t even in the area at the time of the shooting. Yet they had no problem remembering seeing him with his hands up saying “don’t shoot”.

Even more false is the canard that black men are being shot to death by police at a higher rate than any other population. Using the government’s own statistics as Heather MacDonald did in her WSJ article refutes it entirely.

Projection. That is the driving force here.
The greatest antagonists to law and order are the undisciplined youth that knows no boundaries and is totally lacking in empathy, otherwise described as narcissistic. THEY know perfectly well what THEY would do if they had the power, so they assume, with never having been exposed to any belief to the contrary, that others “might” so that very same thing to them.
Those poor broken people, those snowflakes, were never given even the remotest instruction in human interactions leading to compromise, as they were never forced to compete on a very basic level. Even a litter of kittens exercises this interpersonal competition every day from the moment they try to nurse from the mother cat, and all through the maturation process, establishing a pecking order.
Rail against the pecking order if you will, but even if perceived as “bullying”, there is a natural remedy for bullies - screw up your courage and face your demons, for many of them are only wraiths and phantoms.
Colin Kaepernick’s wraith and phantom is that the country of “America” is his enemy, and he has scorned any concept that America is much more than his own personal “bully”. America DOES care, and HAS cared for these many years, and yet the very real justice and mercy that has been extended as a helping hand has been batted away, much as a petulant child resisting all efforts of parents to reason and calm down the situation.
Only when the child is contrite, shall there be any progress.

Keep in mind, most of these “thugs” wouldn’t get past an 8th grade education if it weren’t for sports, especially football. They’re definitely not the sharpest tools in the shed of gene pool. In other words, they’re STUPID.
