Owner Jerry Jones joined his team in taking a knee. The Cowboys then stood up and linked arms for the national anthem.
The Dallas Cowboys all took knees on the field and the Arizona Cardinals linked arms across from them before their Monday Night Football game, a move that followed a closely-watched Sunday in which NFL teams and their owners rebuked President Donald Trumps criticism of athletes protesting during the national anthem.
Yup with guys playing both sides of the ball
and little to no gear compared to today
Leather helmets tiny pads etc
Glad some “get it”. Too many here drinking the koolaid.
No question.
I though it looked like the end of Blazing saddles.
Expected coach Dom Deluise Jones to say:
"[tap, tap, tap]...And... watch me, faggots!"
Just like B Hussein
Half black but identifying as all and hating the other half
Disturbed
I’m not a Tami Lahren fan.
The non Christians in NY always hated the post game prayer too
Actually, Larry was just one more kneeling drone tonight.
Hey now!
What the Cowboys did before the anthem totally negated what they did during the anthem.
Tried to split the baby in half.
Didn’t work in Solomon’s time and it doesn’t work now.
To hell with the NFL.
Including dem Cowboys, who could have stood up for what was right, in a city where BLM killed FIVE COPS!
Tomi can go work for her idols at Planned Parenthood. Watching her suck up on The View made me sick. Good bye Tomi.
They arent Texans. They are nomadic tribesmen, that includes the ownernship.
Youse not too bright are youse? Trump set out a cactus and the entire NFL used it as a butt plug. Even his supposed friends squatted and took it in. I guess they did not think about the thorns on the way in. Removal is not going to be painless. My prediction: 35% of NFL net worth just went poof. No more anti trust status. No more tax payer stadiums.
And I had always thought that they lived happily ever after. Darn!
Americas Team is now Kaepernicks Team.
Pathetic.
That was my thought, a chorus line, like the Rockettes.
The Weehawks are the worst but anyone still watching these gay dudes playing grabass for big dollars is seriously in need of a hobby
Good. Then he'd be familiar with Elijah from 1 King 18:21
"...How long halt ye between two opinions?..."
Now obviously this is not as important a decision as it was in Elijah's day - choosing between the True Living God, and man's false idols - but a man still needs to choose, and not 'halt between two opinions'.
Respecting the Flag/Nation, and paying homage to BLM idolatry (the purpose of the kneel-down), is halting between two opinions.
“trying to pick up a turd by the clean end, is that it?”
LOL.Thanks for that. Needed some humor in all of this. I watched my first NFL game with my mom in 1968. It was the infamous Heidi Bowl. I became a Raider fan after that. I never really knew anything about the players and that’s the way I preferred it over the years. I did hear that Daryle Lamonica was a big game hunter and that bothered me. Warren Wells was arrested for something. For the most part it was all about the team not the individual. Times have changed. WTF!!! 321 with arrest records in the past 6 seasons??? Not standing for the national anthem??? How can I watch a game and care about the outcome? Like watching a movie without a good guy. We need to have gladiator games again with animals killing the liberals. That would be great to watch.
Yeah tell Jimmy Brown, Dick Butkus, Ray Nietzche, Bronco Nagursky and Doug Atkins about that. The only difference is the players are bigger and stronger. Teams still have intricate plays and the NFL is trying to control smash-mouth.
The players above would be banned today.
There are qbs today far more talented than any Oiler or Cowboy qbs except maybe Roger Staubach who actually started the Running qb concept.
Your post was and is full of crap showing you know nothing about the history of the game.
Another poster tried to give you a hint by mentioning the days, Lily White, where the injuries were so out of hand that he threatened to ban it. The Flying Wedge was pure precision, wasn’t it?
