The Dallas Cowboys plan to protest during the national anthem before Mondays game against the Arizona Cardinals, per multiple sources.
Nothing has been firmed up and they will likely come to some decision in the locker room. It may not be a coordinated effort. It may just be a few individuals.
One player said, We have to do something.
Said another, Its not going to be business as usual. He crossed a line. Something will be done...
The majority of the NFLs owners and/or teams issued statements in response to Trumps comments over the weekend.
The Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones have yet to do so...
Garrett, however, has made it clear that he likes how his team has stood for the anthem.
That stance may change Monday night.

Roger Staubach and Tom Landry would never have done this. Shocking. In Dallas where the officers were gunned down in cold blood. College ball from now on. Unless they start this cr*p.
Weasel compromise, Cowboys kneeling before anthem:
******************************************8
Absolute weasels, I find it a way to be disrespectful, without going all the way. These people disgust me.
Well, I guess thats fine so long as the following people are paying their lies:
Consessionaires
Parking attendants.
Restaurant employees around the arena
Taxpayers who will not realize the return on investment due to lost revenue because of reduces sales...
Those who sell paraphanelia like hats, magazines, uniforms, etc.
Bartenders and waiters
The children of these workers who will not receive medical or dental care
How Long, if ever, will it take them to recover a loss of income they could not forsee and have no influence over the duration?
Many will lose their home because they unable to pay their rent because these Bwave Social Warriors need to take a stand.
Thought Experiment:
What about the numerous charities, who will find themselves short on donations from the league, advertisers, etc?
Hey, what about the loss of tax revenues to the taxpayers who funded your Fantabulous Stadium?
How many hotel employees will lose their jobs? HOmes or cars?
The Playuhs? Well, they get their check no matter what because their contract demands it.
Pretty sure they wont be worried about the electric bill this month...
So brave, as this stunt costs them exactly nothing....
What a HUGE caver, Jerry Jones is.
Disgusting.
Cow who?
Jerry Jones kneels arm in arm with players
Still represents BLM protest.
Can Jerry fire himself?
He should.
Adios, Vaqueros.
Shocking. In Dallas where the officers were gunned down in cold blood. College ball from now on.
Jones and players still got in their BLM protest.
Jones has drank the koolaid.
Just more idiots making fools of themselves so they won’t be called racists.
President Trump has a way of bringing out the real weakness in people.
I like it.
This is as real as it gets. The biggest fight for our country is on. The Dallas Cowboys and Jones just got into Trump’s face BIG TIME, and the whole country knows it.
Do Americans have what it takes to fight this, or will they wuss out and make excuses to watch football?
The grin on his face. Reminded me of McCain.
This was so disgusting to watch. It absolutely turned my stomach. I had to turn off the tv. Even though I’ve followed the Cowboys since I was in high school in the ‘60s (being a Dallas girl), I can’t stand them now. Jerry Jones’ treatment of Tom Landry was really horrible and low-class, but this takes the cake. He’s a thug like most of the rest of them. So disappointing!!
F### the NFL.
See #117.
Yes I know exactly what it was because I took the screen capture off of live TV. And it occurred in front of the the entire live TV audience shortly before the anthem. I wrote, "before" the anthem.
Me: "Weasel compromise, Cowboys kneeling before anthem"
Perfect.
