Steelers will not participate in today’s National Anthem, as @JamieErdahl reported. Steelers will remain in locker room during Anthem.
I hope they get booed when they take the field.

Even if the NFL does away with the NA, which they will, I want to ask the die hard football fans here, WILL YOU GO BACK TO THE NFL?
Maybe the majority of players hold us in contempt. I would put the number at 75-80% of the NBA.
Is not playing the national anthem good enough to get you back to watching theses overpaid whiners?

And what will that achieve? The tickets are already sold and the game can be played without fans in the stands.
What the fans should do is occupy the field and destroy the game and ruin the chance for TV sponsors/advertisers to make money.

we are big Steeler fans ...also military conservative family. My husband wonders if maybe this was a good idea. It takes the platform away from the players. Stops it cold.

Easy to tune out and turn them off.

If most of them couldn’t carry a foot ball they would be digging ditches or trying to be on welfare.
Tune out, turn off it won’t take long for the money to stop flowing. Don’t want this gang back ever though at any price. There are plenty of others.
