Stephen Hauschka explains why it's important for white people to understand racial inequality

[Snip]

During a rally in Alabama, Trump said he would love to see NFL owners start to cut any players who protest by kneeling during the national anthem.

it's safe to say that one person who doesn't agree with the view is Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka. During an interview with the Buffalo News this week -- before Trump made his comments -- Hauschka said that he would like "to do more" to help everyone understand why many black players in the NFL are kneeling during the anthem.

"I think a lot of white people don't understand it and are afraid to be involved," Hauschka said. "And I think it's important for white people to see there is inequality everywhere in the country right now, and in the world."

Equality (equal treatment) under the law is your birthright as an American citizen. Not so much in the rest of the world. Our flag stands for equality and justice for all. Not a good idea to trample on it while making demands. You’ll get no sympathy from this veteran and ex-NFL fan.

There is great “inequality” in what football players earn versus the rest of us working folk.

A policeman or fireman save lives and property, often losing theirs while doing their jobs, or getting ambushed by black extremists who hate white people.

Military servicemen and women risk their lives all the time and some lose their lives, such as Pat Tillman did. They earned a helluva lot less that these spoiled pigs.

My son earned $150 in “hazardous duty pay” in Iraq, while fighting there. His unit contained white, blacks, browns, etc, - a Jew (himself), Moslems, Christians, etc. Same pay for the same fighting. They are worth more than that.

Blacks have made more gains towards a better life in the US than anywhere else in the world. Never had a black leader of England or France or Germany, Russia, Red China, No. Vietnam, or Saudi Arabia. Huh!

Much of Africa is in turmoil from Islamic terrorist groups to black tribal fighting, lifelong communist dictators like Mugabe in Zimbabwe, Tambo and gang in So. Africa, and Islamic dictators all over the continent. Not evening mention the tribal genocide in the parts of the Sudan, Nigeria, CAR, etc.

I’m tired of being preached too by rich white liberals from Hollyweird and rich black athletes with their trophy wives and mansions.

The black doctor who saved my life (cardiac arrest) is worth more than any football team or player (and I know he saved many other people. That is what he does. Any social issues he has stays out of the job.

There is more to life than professional sports and some of these greedy turds are going to find out what unemployment means as attendance drops and nobody buys their jerseys.

Yep...you bastards want equal outcomes? Get off your lazy asses, stop shooting people, get educated, show up on time, respect authority, be polite, lose the huge chip on your shoulder, marry your girl, have kids only after you get married, don’t do drugs, put away the Colt 45 and blunts, stop flying off the handle because somebody looked at you the wrong way, learn proper English.

Do all those things, work hard, succeed...and only then get back to us.

I am so damned sick and tired of all your damned bitchin’. I remember hearing it in the sixties when I was a teen. Have you done ANYTHING to improve your lives in 50 years? It seems not. All we hear is gimme gimme gimme mo mo mo and expectations the government (i.e. us) will send you more free stuff.

Your constant bleating about bogus injustices and the need for more free stuff I should turning a giant swath of America against you. You ought to wise up and clam up.

This is neither here nor there. These kneeling "protests" represent an "opting out" of American Identity. It should be a simple matter to see that the response to this would be, "go someplace else."

"Bills kicker: 'It's important for white people to see there is inequality everywhere'"

The rich and the spoiled are so oppressed and downtrodden while producing the things that we need so much. They must speak out and make everyone see their suffering.

By inequality does he mean things like a Conservative radio host who had the money and wanted to buy an NFL team but the left prevented it?

And especially you are not to mention Afro-Caribbean and African immigrants, both of whom have surpassed African Americans. We’re talking culture, not pigmentation.

In the poor guy’s defense, he has to shower every day with 300-lbs-plus linemen and linebackers who happen to be black, steroid-crazed gorillas who bench-press 400-lbs.

Why are so many rich people—some even famous—pretending to fight with each other over social matters while actually trying to push common people to fight with each other? Oh! I know—for the same reason that they’ve always done it: to smash and grab while causing a diversion.

Don’t be robbed by consumerism. Learn continuously about frugality, and save. Learn to build or manufacture something useful as a hobby for now. Don’t buy expensive entertainment. Try some old fashioned entertainment with those you love. Croquet, anyone? Cards, badminton, baseball, softball,...? If you’re alone, read or practice doing something. Learn something.

Inequality everywhere.

Of course there is. For example, the chances of me playing in the NFL have always been zero.

Inequality? How many black punters are ther in the NHL? Perhaps he should give up his pinting job to a black guy. Oh, but that is different.
