"So there you have it - ratings down due to bad weather, i.e. climate change."
They said it was because of the political campaign last year. They will jump on the most farfetched totally unrelated excuses rather than even consider the most obvious cause.

Wow, I figured you cherry picked your excerpt and the article would dig deeply in the real reasons for the decline. But nope...the author only quoted the UBS dope who blamed hurricanes. Maybe the paper ran out of column inches for this story.

Lets watch soccer instead. Not!
lol. Soooo boring to watch on TV.
In fact, I would rather watch paint dry.

I was an NFL season ticket holder for many years. The entire fall revolved around the football schedule. Now I’ll never never watch another game again.

Gee, I wonder if the Cowboys are having ratings problems. If they play like they did against Denver, they will.

I never understood the election excuse. Because, the election was November 8th. The whole second half of the season was after the election, so presumeably those ratings for the last half of the season would be unaffected by the election.

But I thought faith and religion were BAD, especially for Sports Teams.

They got their cue from the Soviets, who had to import western wheat for their huge land mass because of fifty years of bad weather.

They let a nobody seize their brand, throw it on the ground, stomp on it and set it on fire. So such a tightly controlled business they are afraid of setting rules for the players. Here’s one, “You kneel or causes disrespect to the flag, the anthem or America, you will not play that game, be fined at twice your per game salary, suspended without pay for three games. Second offense, one year suspension.” Easy peasy

Won’t be coming from me.
I’ll have baseball playoffs, then hockey.

Since I just saw a headline saying that NFL players are now demanding a month of activism, it looks like NFL owners remain oblivious to their problem.
If they don’t value their product, why should we?

The turnaround begins tonight with the powerhouse matchup of....The Rams and 49'ers.

The NFL is in for another disappointment.
Despite protests from the NFL leagues front office, PBS is going ahead with the airing of "2017...The Year of the Amish Pole Barn" with replays on the even hours
No way the current NFL can compete with that
