Breitbart ^ | 21 Sep 2017 | by Ken Klukowsk

Posted on 09/21/2017 6:46:03 AM PDT by eyeamok

City attorneys in San Francisco and Oakland, California, sued five oil companies in two coordinated lawsuits on Tuesday, arguing that the courts should hold these companies responsible for climate change, and force them to financially compensate the cities for harm the plaintiffs claim those companies are causing to the planet’s environment.

While you guys are sitting around gazing at this Stupid Lawsuit, why don't you get off your lazy ass and do something meaningful to mitigate any foreseeable Losses as a result of this action.

Immediately and Without ANY Warning of Any Kind, SUSPEND AND CLOSE ALL OPERATIONS in the Entire State of California. NO Production NO Refining NO Sales NO Imports NO Deliveries of ANY KIND

When people squeel tell them to GO SEE JERRY!

When you walk in to Court the Judge will Absolutely know that you have all done everything possible to mitigate any further DAMAGE to the State and promptly dismiss the Lawsuit as MOOT!!!

The oil companies should ask what is the best temperature and humidity and cloud cover for the planet?

Then counter sue and demand those state employees go to jail for trying to shakedown their companies.

They never blame the people. Look at gun manufacturers being sued because somebody shot somebody, The perp walks free.

What the Hell is wrong with this F state. It used to be where people built things and made dreams come true. Now its descended into a mini-Soviet Union.

Maybe these companies should stop selling fossil fuels to California. Maybe California should make it illegal to burn any type of fuel they feel causes climate change.

Yeah, thought not.

The Socialist scavengers in New York and California state governments have spent their states into near bankruptcy with their social justice agendas, so they have to sue industries from other states for cash to keep afloat.

These oil companies ought to sue CA for filing frivolous law suits and then pull all their business from the state. CA should have to supply all their energy needs themselves.

They are hoping for ‘class action’ status.

The money spigot will be turned wide open full blast, draining these companies of every penny.

Just like the Asbestos industry............................

Once again those in government have no idea how money is made or how a company works.

For the sake of argument, let us say they sue and win and get a gazillion dollar judgement. Who pays? While the price of their stock would take a hit, it is the consumers that would eventually pay any settlement in the form of higher prices.

Making the cost of transportation higher than it is now will eventually result in lower revenue as there is less business (and more people give up and leave the state).

Socialist look at the rich and see a GOLDEN GOOSE. They forget the goose can fly and when it suffers enough, it will.

“...Immediately and Without ANY Warning of Any Kind, SUSPEND AND CLOSE ALL OPERATIONS in the Entire State of California. NO Production NO Refining NO Sales NO Imports NO Deliveries of ANY KIND...”

That’s exactly what needs to happen....and any other oil & gas company operating in that crap hole of a state should do the same exact damn thing. Let’s see how long they can function riding bicycles to work of a CA freeway. Bring it to a head...quickly.
