I was there for the first time recently. Everyone I interacted with were very nice and cordial. It makes me wonder how these people vote for the state's suicide, how much brazen corruption is ignored and how many illegals have taken over with not a care by legal residents.
The sites were amazing. Most of LA (including Hollywood proper)was a dump and the traffic was insane. It was very obvious the super wealthy live in their gated compounds and communities.
Weren't wearing your MAGA cap, were you?
You would have gotten a far different reception, had the people in Cali known your politics.
I lived in San Diego in the early 80’s. The difference between Northern and Southern CA is striking.
I’ve always felt more, ‘at home’ in Northern CA. (I’ve traveled the entire state.)
But as a born & bred YANKEE, anything North of the Mason/Dixon Line feels like home to me. ;)
