Professional NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick can't find a team to call home in the National Football League, but that didn't stop the NFL Player's Association from celebrating his charity work this week.
The official player's union of the NFL named Kap as the organization's Week 1 "Community MVP" on Friday. He received the honor "for his commitment to empowering underserved communities through donations and grassroots outreach," the NFLPA announcement notes.

Oh, didn’t know that.
My daughter saw them at Suncadia and her impression was that RW’s wife didn’t want her photo taken with any white girls.
Not sure what her problem is...she is gorgeous. Maybe she’s racist.
The Players’ Union should double down and change the name of the award to the “Colin Kaepernick Trophy.” No point in half-stepping into oblivion, folks.
How much are dues? Is he current?
Is there an “alumni” category? The NFLPA has lobbied for former players, so it’s possible.
Wow. In my own experience, I can get along with black men a lot easier than women. The women I encounter seem to have a huge chip on their shoulders. An openly hostile look on their faces. I just pretend not to notice and treat them as pleasantly as I can. Of course, you meet a nice, Christian black lady and they are the sweetest people you could ever meet.
Do you live in California? The white Christian women I know are kind, sweet, and nice. Maybe it’s just a preference you have.
This what one gets when you have people who can pass a ball but cannot pass 3rd grade math
The sooner the NFL dies the better.
I’m not talking about dating. I’m talking about daily encounters in Texas. To sum it up, a good percentage of black, female workers I deal with do not seem thrilled to be dealing with a white male in spite of the fact that I greet them with a smile and treat them with respect. But, when there are exceptions, they can be very kind and pleasant.
I guess that was sarcasm cause it seems they’re doing better than ever.
Did i miss something?
Oh well. Lots of idiots in the country.
Next thing you know, Obama will get the Nobel peace prize.
Starting to think there might be something to this brain injury stuff.
When anyone cuts their cable, Sling is a reasonable alternative.
We had both the Sling Orange and Blue basic after cutting our cable. One of our relatives, who hates ESPN/NFL gave us a great heads up.
Sling Blue doesn't carry any ESPN or Disney channels.
We don't watch ESPN or Disney, however, they were getting money from us by just subscribing to Sling Orange each month when we paid our Sling bill.
I got that info from my our relative, Friday. A few minutes later I had cancelled Sling Orange. So ESPN and Disney get zero money from my Sling Blue monthly subscription payment.
What Is Sling Blue?: (from their site)
Sling Blue costs $25 per month and gives you access to 43 live channels. However,
Blue does not include every Orange channel by default; theres no Disney and no ESPN, for starters.
Indeed, how pathetic they all are and nope, I won’t shed a tear when it all comes tumbling down. No doubt JJ has a back up plan.
Just when I thought I might watch a game, they remind me why I do NOT.
thanks guys.
I’ll never watch these overpaid loser anti-American a-holes again. I hope the league fails.
oh, and I would have at least four cinder blocks under that car, in addition to the jacks.

Reinforces my disdain for unions.
Even a dog is smart enough not to bite the hand that feeds it.
Great line. He was very successful all this life in show business, long before the Amos 'n' Andy TV show, and continued to do well even after the show was canceled.
As an example of SJWs from the 1950s, Moore was to be given his own TV show about "The Kingfish" but after the the show was given the green light, the SJWs at CBS decided "that's racis'" and pulled the plug.
Never mind the fact CBS put a lot of African-American entertainers out of work, especially in the days before cable when there were far fewer broadcast venues. This is a typical example of liberals and the law of unintended consequences.
