House Speaker Paul Ryan said Wednesday that it was "not in our nation's interest" to expel the roughly 800,000 young people protected from deportation by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
"I do believe that kicking these 800,000 kids out to countries that they have probably not been to since they were toddlers, countries that speak languages that they may not even know, is not in our nations interest," Ryan said...

If he signs a DACA act he’s through. Period. There is no good deal to be gained by granting amnesty.
Not interested in your opinion, rat traitor.
The big, ugly, bought-and-paid-for swamp creature, Ryan, is Comey-in-Congress
What??? Ryan needs to be sent packing back to Janesville. NOW.
If they are deported, it would be no different than their parents coming to this country illegally as far as knowing the country they are going to etc.”
Very good point, but since it is logic, it is useless in the debate.
Then you better get ready. Don’t think I’m wrong.
The new mantra around here appears to be its a good thing to work with Pelosi and Schumer...who he dines with tonight...because that’ll show ‘em...like working with the Dems is really going to benefit us.
This is why I never trust any of them. Even Trump.
We MUST primary this smear.
Been ready for a while.
What does Aunt Em say? “...Well, being a Christian woman, I can’t say why I think..”
What she said
“Where are they getting this number?”
From the exact same place they get the 11 million number. And quite a number are are not kids, and weren’t kids when they came.
We elected a President who promised to deport and build a wall... didn’t the nation just speak for its own interest??
Since 2012, the DACA amnesty has provided work permits to roughly 800,000 illegal immigrants, including many who arrived in the 1990s. Their ages range from 15 to the mid-30s. Establishment media outlets describe the illegals as children or kids, but their average age is roughly 25. DACA supporters depict the migrants as productive and well-educated, but the available data shows the illegals skills are relatively low.
Each year, the government provide Green Cards to roughly 1 million legal immigrants. It also hands out almost 3 million short-term work permits to foreign workers. These permits include roughly 330,000 one-year OPT permits for foreign graduates of U.S. colleges, roughly 200,000 three-year H-1B visas for foreign white-collar professionals, and 400,000 two-year permits to DACA illegals.
The current annual flood of foreign labor spikes profits and Wall Street values by cutting salaries for manual and skilled labor offered by blue-collar and white-collar employees. It also drives up real estate prices, widens wealth-gaps, reduces high-tech investment, increases state and local tax burdens, hurts kids schools and college education, pushes Americans away from high-tech careers, and sidelines at least 5 million marginalized Americans and their families.
I don’t see how. Trump said he would make everyone happy. I suppose that includes his base.
Garbage, some form of daca will be crafted by both the gopE and dems and it will pass. That was always going to be the case no matter who was elected. There is a difference between actual children who where brought here years ago through no fault of their own; And adults that came here illegally of their own doing. You’d best find another hill to make your stand on.
It was in the Nation’s interest, and the GOP,
to have removed RomneyCARE Ryan — but they did not;
because the GOP are miserable liars, hated
by all America (except for the DNC, that LOVES THEM).
What does Ryan mean when he says not in the nations interest?
Does he mean the cheap labor they provide globalists?
Border crossings are down 70-80% under Trump.

That is precisely what he means.
