I am finding hurricane and solar weather reports from BPEarthWatch preferable to watching network news. He’s interesting, very prompt, and his forecasts track well with what happens. He uses the various computer models and currently they show a potential for another Irma 14 days out. Someone in his current thread(s) has asked him to make a quick video describing the theory that solar storms impact earthquakes.

WildHighlander57, I don’t recall the arrival times because there were multiple events (ongoing just before sunspots turn away from earth) and multiple time zones.

MrMBB333 is another source of solar flare/CME videos that are good and uses less technical info while consulting many of the same sources of info. He also posts excellent vids on UV readings across the US. The vids are collections of readings (taken w/standardized equipment/technicians) which often show higher UV ratings than the networks (UV is currently under reported, e.g., UV 11). His vids often show that we are receiving UV C which we “shouldn’t” receive because we’re protected by Earth’s ozone/atmosphere, but we are anyway. Note that UV C’s attributes, according to Wiki, are as follows: “Short-wave, germicidal, completely absorbed by the ozone layer and atmosphere.” UV C is considered the most damaging of UV. He also reports meteors.
