“What are the negatives you have on the Salvation Army?”
After the speech Trump gave about Charlottesville, and the MSM reported lies about what he’d said (re KKK, Antifa, white supremicists, BLM, etc), the Salvation Army was one of the first to condemn him and pull their scheduled event from Mar-A-Lago.
#1. Either they believed the lies, so that makes them too stupid to be respected OR they didn’t necessarily believe the MSM but didn’t want to appear to support Trump so that makes them weak and unprincipled.
#2. If the Salvation Army is holding events at Mar-A-Lago, they don’t need my money. I’ve worked at a five-star resort and know the cost of these events. That money should be going to help people.
That’s all. I’ve done bell ringing for them for several years, but really have a problem with this new information. Don’t think I’ll do it again.
I dropped the Salvation Army because they were the most aggressive junk mailer I have ever seen. About two letters per week begging for more money.
