Right? ... and where's Fargo?!
Agree with all who noticed absence of “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. My first observation as well.
Also raised an eyebrow on Harold and Maude. I never ever considered that a comedy or funny in any way.
Watched ‘The Jerk’ again recently and it is truly good. Much better than I remembered - maybe because there were so many average to sub-average Steve Martin movies afterwards (Sgt Bilko was a huge disappointment)
Also, where’s A Christmas Story????
“Armed and Dangerous” Maybe lowbrow, but hillarious.
“The Bride came C.O.D.” Another Cagney classic.
“Folks” Tom Selleck aka One Nut.
“Flirting with Disaster” Lotsa big names.
“The Russian’s are coming” Carl Reine
“Club Paradise” Robin Williams, Twiggy.
“One, Two, Three” For Sure
“My Man Godfrey” They don’t make em like this anymore.
“It’s a Gift” W.C.’s best. Carl LaFong?
“That touch of Mink” Cary rox
“Operation Petticoat” Cary again. Seaman Hornsby?
“The Great Race” Tony, Natalie, Jack, Peter.
#34 Clueless???? Really!
#46 Pulp Fiction??? It’s one of my all time favorites but I never considered it a true comedy?
Probably such a list can't be serious if Mad World isn't No. 1 by a large majority.
Somewhat surprising. It’s pretty good, but in no way a comedy. It’s a Tarantino film, for one thing (an early one), and is very violent and dark. It’s definitely not intended as comedy.
They put the Dude at #11.
Charlatans.
But that’s a priceless Steinway!

Can’t believe no Pink Panther movies here
North Dakota, silly.
A remarkable number of films which probably had writers who started in radio.
Which confirms my sentiment about current writers. They are just filling in blanks on computerized formats.
Really lousy writers.
These lists are good for one thing.
They reveal the inner workings, biases, and stupidity of the people who developed them.
LOL, talk about the blind leading the blind, I just followed you right on that other thread.
“Number 11? Yeah, well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man...”
the funniest scene I ever saw in the movies was in The Fiendish Plot of Dr Fu Manchu.
If “Porkies” isn’t on the list then this list had zero credibility,IMO.
No Tommy Boy or O Brother Where Art Thou??? sad list.
