See link.
You can’t drive anywhere. All the roads are flooded, so you don’t need gas anyway.
Yikes! I’m in Maryland and I’ve been filling up my tank every other day starting day one. Watchin the price climb every day.
Darlin, you need prepper instincts! LOL!
They are predicting an earthquake in the mid-Atlantic on Friday. Doubt it will happen or it will be big, butttt I will fill up a few jugs of water tomorrow. Sh*t happens.
And I will get more gas!! LOL! And maybe some beer.
I had noticed in Comanche (Texas) that some of the pumps were out of service, but still plenty of others that were not. But that was Monday.
Got plenty of beer though, and tequila!
I’m flying into Dallas in two weeks and renting a Car.
Hope they fix this by then.
Never mind, I’ll rent a Chevy Bolt. LOL
Fox 5 in ATL noted the Colonial was shut down this evening.
“After that I said to myself I will always keep it at least half full.”
I’ve been faithful to that pledge ever since the 9-11 attack.
I sure haven’t.
I imagine it depends on the distributor and what they have left to deliver. I think it’s going to be a rough Labor Day weekend to get around in Texas until the supply chain gets restored.
Well, that’s certainly true down in coastal Texas.
Yup, drive that electric 4 wheel drive pickup through 4 feet of water .... shocking experience I tell yah!
You’re all set.
We live in the DFW area. Filled up the tank yesterday.
“Bought fuel for my car and my mower”
Yeah, my riding lawn mower is a handy way to get to the store when I don’t want to get mud on the car.
LOL! Some of your priorities are in line.
I guess you’ll still need gas for your bass boat.
Thanks for the update - was expecting it.
Some stations here in the Houston area have been out of gas.
After reading this, I went out to get gas for the other cars. First stop was where I had filled up on my way home from work. Most of the pumps were bagged off, with a few still selling only premium gas. Went to another station- more pumps open, but again only premium gas. Third station- no gas at all. Forth station, happy to sell regular gas.
So folks in the Metroplex need to get busy and top off while they can.
I know in similar situations in Florida they urge people not to rush out and top off their gas tanks.
