Soft ride, good stereo, fairly good on gas 24/17, depending on your foot, all the bells and whistles, HUGE trunk................

You can always pick up a very low mile Mercury Gran Marquis for a few thousand bucks. They are the essentially the same chassis as the Lincoln with less trim, but a step above the Crown Vic.

Mechanics and parts are plentiful as they are a version of the Crown Vic fleet car used by many police departments and taxi companies.

They are all REAR wheel drive, not good on slippery roads.

They tend to need valve seals at about 160k. After that fix you can run them up to 300k.

I got about 20 MPG on my Gran Marquis, don’t have it any more.
