The greater Houston MSA is a bit larger than the size of Rhode Island, just to give some perspective. The affected area of this storm looks to be larger than the Boswash corridor, admittedly without the population densities.

like I said before the onshore flow will back water drainage

first heavy bands now moving in

also they will be in the right side with isolated tornadoes

I just sold my house in Willis, in March - good timing on my part!

I bought it just BEFORE Ike, which took out parts of my fence and some neighbors had some really bad damage. We had no power in my area for almost two weeks.

Meteorologist general consensus thus far:
Harvey will hit Victoria back up and rake the entire coastline towards the N.E. from there and die out in the Ozarks.
