One week after violent protests rattled Charlottesville, Virginia, a scheduled free speech rally in Boston today was met with thousands of counterprotesters, but the day went off mostly smoothly, police said, with 27 arrests for assaults on police Officers, but few injuries.
.... After the free speech event has concluded, counterprotesters still swarmed Boston this afternoon, and riot police also responded in the city.
... Amid the confrontations, Boston police tweeted that individuals are asked to "refrain from throwing urine, bottles and other harmful projectiles at our officers."

However, it is perfectly acceptable to throw anything at pro Trump and Conservative demonstrators, there will be no arrests for that.

Before one of these they should show officers films of the 1968 Chicago Democratic National Convention.

That italicized excerpt you posted says it all.
They don’t give a flying eff what is thrown at people practicing their freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.
That is why I didn’t go.

Do you think a dotted line on a map is going to keep liberalism out of your state?
Look at Charlottesville in VA.
Look at Austin in TX.
We need to, as conservatives, fight together to preserve our rights. And that includes Texans and Floridians battling liberalism not only in their own states, but in New England and California.

BBC just reported that “the free speech demonstration was organized by the extreme right, many of whom wore Donald Trump hats”. The counterdemonstrators, many of whom wore masks and hoodies, arrived from high-crime, black ghetto Roxbury, were the good guys, of course.

Virginia is the cradle of America; Jamestown - 1607.
Muslims planted their “sword” in VA some 30+ years ago.
Nixon and Kissinger sealed the deal.
