On Friday, three well-known charities — the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and Susan G. Komen — announced they are canceling plans for fundraising events at President Trump's Palm Beach country club, Mar-a-Lago.

I think Trump cares a great deal
This is the premier social event of Palm Beach and they are dissing not just him but his wife and family
He is the honorary chairman of the Red Cross and he and Melania were even before this because he basically donated Mar a Lago for this party for most of the past decade ( probably over $200k in-kind donation)
He donated use of his aircraft to fly ambassadors down from DC for many years
These parties each raised over a million for the RC in one night
Do you remember Trump going down to Louisiana helping Red Cross raise awareness of Louisiana flooding during campaign while obama was on vacation in the Vineyard and Hillary refused to show?
Yes I think the Samaritans Purse is the best place for all my charitable giving from now on, plus my church.

You may not know the name, but the Susan Komen Foundation for breast cancer research is in your face all of the time. The stupid pink ribbon icon on so many products is for them. I am a female, and they are responsible for the fact that I have come to hate the color pink.
Their actual business is fund-raising. They raise tons and tons of money by appealing to people’s emotions about cancer, but I doubt that much of what they raise gets used for cancer research. I caught on to them years ago, and, then when they hooked up with Planned Parenthood, I was even more convinced of their evil.

I know where tithes go at some of the churches here. So, for us, that’s not an option. And the closest PCA church is an hour away.
