The Boston Heralds Michael Silverman reports that Red Sox owner John Henry is haunted by the racist past of previous owner Tom Yawkey and wants to rename Yawkey Way, the tw0-block street that runs from Brookline Avenue to Boylston Street.

And of course John Henry doest go far enough with his stupidity. The Red Sox used to forbid black players. Disband the Red Sox and all of the original 16 baseball teams and burn all the paraphernalia associated with those teams.

Oh I absolutely agree the damage is real, but the damage to their “brand” is greater IMO.
