My point is, why was HIS car selected for attack? The black lady’s car was not attacked. But the frames you referred me to clearly show his car was attacked after he at least tapped the brakes. And if the person swinging the flag “club” at his left rear actually IS the guy that was in front of the car a few frames previously it would seem to support the contention that he had at least slowed down, was attacked, and then accelerated forward. I just don’t think you can argue that he was under attack before anyone was hurt. Maybe I am just misunderstanding you but everything you seem to be pointing to exonerates Mr Fields.

The evidence I've seen from other video clips around Charlottesville that day suggests that he was attacked because he had an out-of-state license plate. There were a number of cases where this happened, and one of the things supporting this scenario is that it seems like he was only attacked from the rear, not the front. His car had no front license plate, so anyone in front of him wouldn't have known that he was from another state.
