Many of our countrys most cherished institutions of higher learning are shadows of what they once were. And if youre a college graduate, that probably includes your alma mater.
A survey by the Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA found that a staggering 60 percent of university professors identified as liberal or far-left in 2014 up from 42 percent in 1990. But interviews conducted in 17 separate Gallup polls in 2016 that found that 70 percent of Americans consider themselves either conservative (36 percent) or moderate (34 percent).
In colleges across the country, far-left professors now dominate disciplines like English literature, sociology, and history. Few have anything positive to say about capitalism, the Constitution or the United States in general.
As a result, many colleges have become ground zero for propagating every extreme idea the far left can imagine. And they want your money to help them do it. Lots of it.
To help them spread propaganda, colleges are regularly sending out fundraising letters and emails. From time to time, you may have donated or even made your gift as a regular monthly contribution. Some alumni donate small (or not-so-small) fortunes and have buildings named after them.
Wherever you find yourself on the continuum of funding university-sponsored indoctrination, please understand that youre very likely financing institutions that oppose your values.

Yeah, we stopped some years back.
Yeah, 60 percent.
Not mine!
They don’t need my money. I do.
Ha. They dominate every department.
Agreed on the Colleges, also, every democrat and RINO should be voted out of office and never to be returned.
Wake up America.
TRIGGERED!!!
I give money to the ROTC department, hopefully they are using it to the benefit of the those students.
Couldn’t have put it better. I give regularly to my favorite charity — my bank account.
If I were to go to a college (a big maybe), I would never donate. The money that could be donated would be put to better use buying myself a guitar.
I gave a bit to to my college until a few year ago, when they had a “womyn”/femanist month. Yes, that is how they spelled it. every campus event that moth was all feminism.
They sent me a fundraising letter and email that month. I respond to them with concerns about that using the spelling “women.” They were quick to respond with teh PC spelling. They will never receive another dime.
They haven't called since.
Im nearing the end of my run here on earth, so the wife and I have been doing final checks on the validity of our modestly sizeable family trust bequeaths.
Spent my freshman year at Stetson; we stopped by there a few weeks ago. Had an impromptu extended chat with a young, brilliant (non-tenured) political science professor. He is well-versed in the ways of the left, but casually dismisses the big government concerns of conservatives. He was quite happy that the heavy hand of the Southern Baptist Convention no longer interferes with the colleges enlightened academic elite and SJWs.
Drove north for a family reunion, then over to Hillsdale College in Michigan. (They’re the ones who publish “Imprimis”.) WOW, were we impressed! (Let’s just say that when we left them with a check, jaws dropped.)
We’ve already dumped the University of Miami (my undergrad degree) and SUNY (my wifes undergrad degree). Since a business school professor at Stetson kick-started my career path by getting me a summer job, cutting them off really hurts, but damned if I’m going to pay for SJW training.
After our visit to Hillsdale, we’re seriously considering saying bye-by to Embry-Riddle (grad school for both of us) and leaving it all to Hillsdale.
As for now, after supporting FR, consider sending Prager University a donation. It’s a great bang for the buck - some of the views for their videos total in the millions!
Today most colleges are cesspools of ignorance.
