Hogan just announced his support to remove statue of Roger B. Taney from Annapolis State House.

I don’t know much about Taney but I think he’s probably the most accomplished man to ever come out of Maryland.

Lawyer, State Delegate, State senator, State Attorney, US Attorney General, recess appointment to Secretary of Treasury, Associate Justice then Chief Justice of SCOTUS.

One decision, Dred Scott was a 7-2 decision, even if he dissented it would have still happened. He deserves to be memorialized.

These doofuses will also want to rename Taneytown, which was NOT named after him.
