CHARLOTTESVILLE A man accused of plowing a car into a crowd of protesters here killing one person and leaving 19 injured has long sympathized with Nazi views and had stood with a group of white supremacists hours before Saturdays bloody crash.
The accused driver, James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Ohio, had espoused extremist ideals at least since high school, according to Derek Weimer, a history teacher.
Weimer said that he taught Fields during his junior and senior years at Randall K. Cooper High School in Kentucky. During a class called Americas Modern Wars, Weimer said that Fields wrote a deeply researched paper about the Nazi military during World War II.

OK...thank you very much.
You can bet every one of those young men wearing white polos and khaki pants at this weekend's rallies in Charlottesville voted for Trump. You might not like it but this doesn't make it any less true.
Wow, thanks.
A Leftist Nazi?
Well the fact that writing a standard history assignment is cited as positive proof of nazism should stand out to everyone with an IQ above room temperature so yeah...something does.
Perhaps.the guy should have written a vague meandering flunking paper instead.
History be racist.
Thought he was from Maumee, Ohio. Did they show the wrong guy?
Thanks for those links. I just found out he backed up and hit those cars on purpose.
That's because it were white supremacists and neo-Nazis who organized these protests, rallied the troops and showed up to crack commie skulls. It was David Duke and Richard Spencer. They seem to be the only ones who find these old statues of dead white guys worth fighting for.
Sure, there's are a lot of people here on Free Republic wringing their hands when the Leftist Taliban decided to start knocking down statues but when it came time to fight, only the guys with the Nazi banners who showed up.
Just to get an idea of what other people are saying (the passive and uncritical consumers of mainstream news), someone on another discussion board was saying Trump stated, when he began his campaign, that his favorite book was Mein Kampf. I haven't found anything to substantiate this. These people are trying hard, very hard, to link him to the Nazis.
An earlier report claimed he was viciously anti-Trump, and leftist extreme. Media has been quashing that report because it does not follow the script of right wing extremism. All such extremism is false flag Soros funded.
bttt
I just wish the white supremacist and KKK types would stop using the Confederate flag as a symbol of their hate.
Heres an idea. Hold a discussion forum with scholars on both sides to discuss Lees life and the pros and cons of his image and let people make statements for or against by taking turns at a microphone.
But what do I know...
Are you serious? The left doesn't want a scholarly discussion about Robert E. Lee. They want his statues knocked down. Plain and simple. What did Spencer hope to accomplish? I dunno. Maybe he should've stayed home and bitched about the leftist Taliban knocking down statues on internet echo chambers like so many other sad, pathetic cucks.
And they were quashing it because they kid was live tweeting from Michigan that it wasn't him.
“...Dodge Challenger smashed into the back of the sedan, shoving tons of metal into the crowd as bodies were launched through the air.”
If that’s what happened, why didn’t the Dodge’s air bag deploy? And if he air bag deployed, wouldn’t the fuel supply have been cut off and the car have been stuck there?
He didn’t drive into a crowd of white supremacists.
Not the car & the minivan, just the sedan.
Tangible evidence, or just Weimer's word?
Was the language and tone sympathetic, observational, analytical or possibly even critical, and of what parts and/or Command of the German Military?
Inquiring DemoRat National Socialists and DemoRat International Communists certainly DON'T want to know.
“Are you serious? The left doesn’t want a scholarly discussion about Robert E. Lee. “
So?
This isnt for their benefit. It is to have a structured and controlled environment for people that supposedly want to take this seriously to deny the agitators the ability to control the event to the point where they have an easy time running with a narrative that is false, and to keep clowns in klan garb or dopes spoiling for a fight, out.
“Maybe he should’ve stayed home and bitched about the leftist Taliban knocking down statues on internet echo chambers like so many other sad, pathetic cucks.”
Yeah, thanks. He should have because he sure didnt help. If anything that clown and his idiot followers may have guaranteed that it wont be there.
Hey! Werent you the guy that they first thought was the driver of the dodge?
I almost felt bad for the belly laugh that that gave me.
If I was you I would sue AlGore for inventing the internet and ruining your life!
