CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a statement Saturday indicating a federal investigation has been opened into the events surrounding the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Sessions, who had already condemned the violence and any message of hate and intolerance as events were unfolding, delivered the following statement as the dust settled in the home of the University of Virginia:
The violence and deaths in Charlottesville strike at the heart of American law and justice. When such actions arise from racial bigotry and hatred, they betray our core values and cannot be tolerated. I have talked with FBI Director Chris Wray, FBI agents on the scene, and law enforcement officials for the state of Virginia. The FBI has been supporting state and local authorities throughout the day. U.S. Attorney Rick Mountcastle has commenced a federal investigation and will have the full support of the Department of Justice. Justice will prevail.

The thread is dead. Please don’t give anyone ideas that I welcome PMs of this type. If I get any, I’ll delete them unread.
No. Actually we do know what Sessions is investigating because he tells us, for example the car incident in Virginia.
Why should I “knock it off” when someone here calls me mentally handicapped or dishonest, sheltered, inexperienced, smarmy, psychotic, disgusting, helpless, shiftless, hallucinogenic, snotty ignorant, stupid, and clueless just because I asked them to provide an objective source for an assertion they made?
What’s pathetic is to make an absolute truth assertion then get all puffed up and call names when asked to back it up with a coherent objective factual source.
Don’t worry about getting mail from me, if you call me 15 names openly I’ll call it out openly. I’ll also call out hypocrisy when your name calling actions don’t match what you state in your bio.
Go away you soros bot troll
Oh, so you are privy to whatever investigations Sessions is working on, and you know for sure he’s not investigating “Hitlery, leakers, etc”.
You must work for the DoJ, then.
Here's Sessions telling us what he's working on.
Sessions: Federal Investigation of Charlottesville Underway
So you think Sessions reveals every investigation he’s work on too.
No, try again.
I’ve read all the Freeper opinions about Jeff Sessions, unsure of what to think, and then I watched his news conference:
“Justice will be done-we’re coming after these people (the alt-right)...it cannot be tolerated, it will not be tolerated in Amertica...we will fight them directly, we will go after them directly, morally, legally, politically, legitimately, in any way possible, that causes this division...it does fit the definition of domestic terrorism.”
He was directing those words towards people who simply marched, nothing more, and were beaten up by antifa after police were ordered to stand down.
Does ANYONE think he’s one of the good guys? Not I, not after watching his outrage against a bunch of marchers, while remaining silent on the REAL domestic terrorism of the BLM and antifa movements.
I think he’s one of the deep state who’s working to take down Trump and his brand of conservatism.
I hoped and hoped and hoped that you were correct, and dynaman and others, who said Sessions was a good guy, he’s going to go after Hilary, the deep state and the BLM/antifa, but there’s no way I believe that now, not after watching him say he’s going to “go after to those people” who are “domestic terrorists.”
If you really still believe that, I’d love to hear why.

Excellent post. Agree with you completely. Something is fundamentally wrong with Sessions. He’s adopted the language and perspective of the Left. Together with his trusty sidekick, Rosenstein, he’s done more to harm Trump than any Democrat has, or even could have done. It’s staggering.
The AG should have been a major asset to the Trump administration. Instead, he’s turned into its biggest threat. It’s painful to watch.
I totally agree with you...
