Where is everyone on FR? Used to be I’d check back on a thread and see 5 new posts now they’re few and far between.
I’ve been wondering that myself lately.
Volume of posts is down dramatically. Maybe some of the tech problems had something to do with it; I don’t know.
Several (self included) have individually and collectively decided that our mental and physical health is more important than watching the yammering heads on TV. Thus, fewer posts about the latest Trump-slam from the news-like outlets.
Good news though, a Trump rally next Tuesday! :)
I think part of the explanation for the general FR forum is: it's the end of summer...and folks are squeezing out the last bit of fun.
As for this thread which has seen fewer and fewer posts for weeks now: I am going to ask a question that may insult some of my deplorable friends. I apologize in advance because I mean no offense.
But... is this thread a place to come for news about and surrounding the President and his administration---or is this now a social club where the majority of posts are of a personal nature?
Speaking for myself, only .... I've limited time to check in during the day and add to the comments. It seems for the last few weeks when I do check in for news and to post something about Trump and the administration, I feel like I am interrupting something personal.
Is this now the nature of this thread?

Hi Right.....
I was wondering why the thread is less busy. I have come to the conclusion that for awhile we had lots to celebrate, with Trump accomplishing much. It seems that now, the vicious attacks are just so overwhelming that many have tuned out to ANYTHING, including such a good Trump Family thread. I, for one, feel like there’s nothing I can say that will help your president, or his loyal base. All I can express is my hatred for the left, which nobody needs to hear.
I have joined in posting some personal conversation tid-bits....hopefully not too many. I enjoy the friendly and personal little bits of everyone’s lives that are thrown in the mix. The only thing that made me roll my eyes and tune out was the birth of that giraffe. Good grief. I couldn’t believe it.
More rallies would help! I hope he goes to Arizona and pardons the good Sheriff Joe.
