Car plows into protesters during clashes at Unite the Right rally. Car Runs into Crowd at White Supremacist Protest in Charlottesville Virginia [BREAKING NEWS]
... I am pretty sure the authorities are taking their time to make sure the identity of the driver is absolutely confirmed. They also more than likely have a delay on the announcement to give law enforcement across the country time to have their riot assets ready for when the announcement is finally made. No matter who the perp is they know that this is likely a flashpoint for racial unrest across the nation.
Karma is a byotch. No way he's getting out of this "miscalculation" without a lasting stink.
I don’t know. I don’t know whether it is real or bogus either.
The motive is in question. Whether it was intentional or an accident. If they say it was intentional now and then later it's somehow proven the guy was spook/scared so he hit the gas to get away then he could sue the PD and city.
Trying to be both careful and thorough is my guess. They have the guy, know who he is, and he isn't going anywhere so time is on their side.
You look like a idiot, sound even worse.
Most computers store time using GMT. They should convert to your local timezone when they display date, but some don't
Van Cortlandt, another RevWar name. IMO all of those names are “hard”, not soft. ;-)
But again, we digress and have hijacked the thread...
"martial" law /sp
"A Carfax report shows the vehicle was purchased by its latest owner in June 2015 from Kerry Toyota in Florence, Kentucky. The title for the vehicle was updated the next month in Maumee.
The vehicle was not listed as stolen by the National insurance Crime Bureau as of Saturday afternoon. The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles also lists the vehicle as registered out of Lucas County, where Maumee is located."
Yes, we should be able to get the engine size, type of drivetrain, paint color, time and place of manufacture from that.
Of course it could be a stolen "cracker" car.
Could be the case, but it sure looked as those that entire page at the link was put together quickly..Almost too perfect if you know what I mean.
I think this entire event is odd and find them giving speeches for 17 minutes at a news conference, instead of providing facts of the case was alarming. The suspect hs been in custody for hours and still no driver ID from the officials in VA?
Very odd.
Sure looked like that to me. And he was dragging the other car's rear bumper.
And you completely evaded what I told ya and come back with name calling? Come on.
Well, that fits with the fact in multiple videos one can see objects being thrown at the vehicle prior to the incident...
So "next week" will be neither easier nor more difficult than any other propaganda-filled week.
The People who are paying attention are thinking in much longer terms than day to day hysteria and smears from the Media and Swamp.
There's a civil war brewing, and it has absolutely nothing to do with a few idiotic white nationalists marching, or some deranged individual behind the wheel of an automobile.
The American People know precisely who has created this atmosphere, and it's not the Trump-supporting crowd. It's the assh-les who are butthurt because they lost an election, and are trying to undo it—and failing miserably.
And if Matt Drudge thinks he's being cute by flirting with the mainstream haters—the seditious Left—then to H-ll with him—he's gone over to the dark side as far as I'm concerned, and I have zero interest in anything else he says...
It is like a wikipedia page, where you can archive stuff, so it was thrown together quickly.
A member of the "Tea party"?
Plus they’d likely want to check the guy out, search his house etc. If he’s affiliated with any groups that might be involved, the cops won’t want to do anything that might tip them off and possibly trigger the destruction of evidence before the cops get to it.
Cops have a responsibility to execute their investigation the best they can, and among other things that means wringing any possible advantage they can get out of the suspect’s name being kept out of the media. If that means they don’t immediately feed the media frenzy every bit of information they have, then so be it.
