And what’s more, some folks were just thrilled to have him out there.

When it comes to Democrats, “discredited” is a non-existent concept.

I am beginning to worry about winter.
C'mon man, it's only August - enjoy the summer!
We usually have two days a year with temps over 90. Last year we had 27 and every day the Libs in the local fish wrapper were predicting globull warming doom.
This year not a peep.

For whatever reason (apparently the jet stream isn’t in its usual place these days) this spring/summer has been very wet and not very hot so far. How that relates to the hurricane season I don’t know but at least in this neck of the woods the weather hasn’t been normal but it’s hardly the end of the world.

Probably drove around all morning looking for water deep enough to float a boat.

Bastardi’s daily update today suggests a tropical wave coming of Africa today will end up hitting the carolinas in about 10 days.

Not sure if you subscribe to the new moon/full moon theory of earthquakes, but for those who do, they’ll find it noteworthy that the sun and moon will be in pretty much direct alignment over New Madrid, MO during the eclipse.

What was Sandy? Wasn’t it in 2008. That was pretty bad even if it wasn’t a 3.

Actually I should have said 2012 and not 2008.

Sandy was in 2012.

It was not even a Cat One storm.

It is called Superstorm Sandy, not a hurricane as it was two storm systems that converged.

Charlie did his damage with spinoff tornadoes..

The 150MPH sustained winds and the flooding were responsible for most of the billions of dollars in damage.

Yes. Thank you. I remember how that was made to some how link to global warming but it really was just a large storm system.
