That is what I have told people whining about no Hillary indictment. Where is a grand jury going to indict her? Where is the Petit or Trial jury that would convict her?

Democrats are ‘hands-off’ as far as I see it, and considering past assistance from Republicans in congress/senate relating to the criminal Left I have no reason to believe this will go anywhere but to Trump’s door.

Republicans have always been weak on these issues the media and the Democrats make GOP follow their false narratives, remember fake Plame investigation $$millions wasted all in an effort to destroy VP and administration GOP played into their hands and all they got was some trumped up bogus perjury charge against Scooter Libby. Never forget they own the media they control the narrative and if you are not 100% fighting against it at all times than you are going to lose.

If it is not than this is nothing more than a media enabled Democrat led political witch hunt and coup.

“The only thing we managed to do was slow down the death of our country. 62 million people voted to try and turn things around but we are defenseless against the deep state.”

It would be nice if Trump fought and not just Twitter. He should grow balls and take them on. Fire Mueller in a televised address, and explain to the American People what’s happening, but he won’t, so he will be impeached. They are going to impeach him anyway, go out Fighting.

Humm....well, maybe. Actually I have a JD and I do not feel I’m ignorant of Constitutional law. Maybe you’re right. Here’s how we find out. Mueller indicts Trump for a) obstructing justice for firing Comey or trying to influence the Flynn investigation and b) some financial crime not related to Russia.

As for a), these acts are part of Trump’s official duties - like granting a pardon. Crime b) is not.

Trump moves to dismiss the indictment on the grounds that a) are part of his duties, therefore not a crime. Crime b) should be dismissed on the grounds you suggest.

The Obama appointed trial judge will deny Trump’s motion. The Obama dominated DC circuit will deny his appeal. Trump must appeal to the Supreme Court to get an answer.

Trump will probably be cleared, but how long will it take? It would only be a prelude to impeachment should the Dems take the House.

Which has why I said it’s not a pretty picture.

If he want to, Mueller will find the evidence. Find some unrelated wrongdoing by some of Trump’s “associates”. The FBI will threaten the associate with a draconian sentence unless associate turns “state’s evidence”. It’s called a rollover, and a tactic used by special prosecutors all the time.

Or, it will be circumstantial follow the money “evidence”, which, by itself, is innocent, but when tied to the accusations, is make to sound guilty.

And, it will be a resistance minded all Dem jury - so who cares what the evidence is.

None of it matters, he won’t resign, the house will not impeach him they don’t have the votes, they will run on this in the 2018 cycle, all we have to do is stop them from taking the house and there will never be an impeachment proceeding, besides even if Dems took house and impeached him it takes 2/3 of Senate for removal and if we are that far down the rabbit hole than none of that will matter much anyway.

Truth. I voted for Trump and was with him from the beginning for one simple reason-- He was ***N-O-T*** a DC insider.

The problem is, and continues to be, -- President Trump has done absolutely Z-E-R-O to eliminate "The Swamp" as he promised many, many times on the campaign trail.

NOTHING -- and every day he loses power. Why? He is starting to remind me of the "Maverick" John McCain. Trump does nothing but tweet - a la Trey Gowdy.

All I want is to see *something* that remotely resembles "Draining the Swamp"...

Well that’s true, but given the ME Obama mess and the fact that Trump is a military kind of guy, who was wanting to do clean up and clean out over there, it made sense he wanted theater expertise at the helm of Defense and the Pentagon. Imho.

We have judges today who literally invent anything they need to to get things where they want things to go

That was my thought too. Since when do they think the constitution matters?
