The Washington Post has obtained transcripts of two conversations President Trump had with foreign leaders: one with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and another with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
The transcripts were prepared by the White House but have not been released. The Post is publishing reproductions rather than original documents in order to protect sources. The reproductions below also include minor spelling and grammatical mistakes that appeared in the documents.
I guess all that BS saying that it was Prebus makes everyone look like fools. I knew it wasn’t him. Sadly the smears of a good man will continue.
BEZOS aka BOZO THE CLOWN is paying BIG BUCKS to get these kind of info!! MR. PRESIDENT MOVE OUT OF THE WH!! MAKE LARGO YOUR OFFICE!!!ASAP...BEZOS SHOULD BE ARRESTED!!! He is not stopping this kind of SHIT!!! We should demand he be put in jail!!!!! That is his company his toilet paper rag Corporation!
Maybe the misspellings were seeds.
I did that once- long story- but it worked.
Um, this is probably an old leak that the comPost that was held until now to make it look “new”.
Like the Carrier deal that was “new” when some layoffs occurred but on closer examination we see it was already part of the deal.
Now, if it really is a new leak then Kelly needs to start firing people.
Is it crazy to think Obama planted some internal bugs in the White House before he left, or is that too much tin foil?
What sound does a dove make?
I remember when bits of this came out. These calls were made very early in Trump’s presidency.
So you’re probably right. The Compost has had these for some time, and needed something to counter the positive economic news Trump was touting yesterday.
I am so sick of no one hanging from the lamppost yet.
It seems to me that the only difference between the WaPo and Wikileaks is that Wikileaks has never published bogus content or added misleading editorial. They both rely upon leakers.
“The reproductions below also include minor spelling and grammatical mistakes that appeared in the documents.”
Way to go, Post! Reproductions with original grammar and spelling errors are traceable to the source. From the source, you can determine who they were distributed to.
This won’t take long.
Fire them all. Make sure the dismissal is “with prejudice” so they can never again hold a clearance or government job.
We have no functioning government; is the bullet box an option if the ballot box fails? If not, why not? Is there any scenario where DJT will finally get control of this mess? How? When? Will he actually let Mueller look through every deal the Trump organization has ever done? I wouldn’t, his azz would be gone yesterday. F the political fallout, it’s US v the Political Elite.
The President was recently compelled to publicly shame Jeff Sessions regarding his inaction of the leaks, including the leaks of classified information. With Sessions in charge of DOJ, don't expect too much in the way of real Justice.
MORE and MORE and MORE leaks. Time to clean house at State.

“Um, this is probably an old leak that the comPost that was held until now to make it look new.”
Absolutely right. WaPo is releasing this now to give the impression that leaks are still happening (which they might be).
As to the content, there’s nothing here that hurts Trump; in fact, he is remarkably consistent between his public statements and these private phone calls.
The whole harangue with Turnbull was unnecessary, though. Trump could have just said, “Fine, Malcolm. We’ll vet your 1,250 harmless prisoners and you’ll be getting them all back. Thanks for da call.”
They have had these for a long time.
“Was this material leaked?”
Couldn’t the leak have occurred on Mexico’s end? They’d have a transcript too, wouldn’t they?
Aren’t these the old transcripts that reported the rift between Trump and Turnbull on the refugee deal?
