'This deal will make me look terrible’: Full transcripts of Trump’s calls with Mexico and Australia
Washington Post ^

Posted on 08/03/2017 6:25:05 AM PDT by UKrepublican

The Washington Post has obtained transcripts of two conversations President Trump had with foreign leaders: one with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and another with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

The transcripts were prepared by the White House but have not been released. The Post is publishing reproductions rather than original documents in order to protect sources. The reproductions below also include minor spelling and grammatical mistakes that appeared in the documents.

See link for the full transcripts - I actually think they paint Trump in quite a good light.

How did this “transcript” come to be?? More leakers???

(sorry, I don’t click on WaPo links, if the answer is in the actual article).

Kelly’s job just got tougher. When the President gets back from vacation, the leakers need to be history.

Transcripts & leaks?

No, this is treason, sedition and disclosure of secure material.

If we are going to pay $250 for a damned speeding ticket someone in DC needs to go to jail for this.

The President should order, in writing, the DOJ to conduct a criminal investigation of this leak. Same thing with every other leak that could have involved misuse or conversion of government property, illicit recording, conspiracy to violate employment agreements, who knows what other crimes, wire fraud (using the phones or emails to commit a crime) and of course the leak of anything classified. Forget the ranting - issue orders.

“I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.”
- Trump

President Trump could line up every single leaker and traitor from both parties, and I’d be happy to serve on the jury. As long as he policed his brass afterwards, I wouldn’t even convict him of littering. [Note: It could take hours to fix this problem that way, but the problem has to be fixed.]

Negotiation phrases...

If the Washington Post doesn’t know about them it could be part of the reason the news industry is failing. Buy outs anyone?

Sorry, but at this point you have to look at the NSA for leaks of phone calls. His phones are “tapped”.

Agree totally. If the president's communications with foreign leaders are not secure, nothing is secure. Someone needs to go to jail for this.

Mamzelle @5: "I am bewildered at how McMaster STAYS."

Rather than being fired, McMasters may get a new job in a resort area, according to this story: "EXILE: POTUS Considering Shipping McMaster To Afghanistan After Reportedly Caught Leaking To FBI’s McCabe."

The key to finding leaks is to "seed the list". In direct marketing you seed a list by adding your name to the compiled mailing lists that you broker and sell. When the list is used, you know by getting a mailing from someone using the list (whether they paid for it, or not.)

In documents within the White House, you make notable (but very subtle) changes to the various versions of the transcripts distributed to the various parties who should ostensibly have a copy. When the Washington Post uploads a scan of the version they received to Scribd or whatever, then you scrutinize it for the subtle marks or modifications you made and bingo, you have your leak source. It takes a lot of manpower to be marking and tracing all this information, but it has to be done, and they need to drop the hammer on these leakers.

Won’t happen & can’t happen in this day & age, especially given the threat of the Deep State.

I think at this point the nest strategy is to ignore anything other than official statements as fake news.

Not leaked. The WH is or was under electronic surveillance.
