Calexit leader Shankar Singam appeared on Tuesday's broadcast of Tucker Carlson Tonight to promote the secession of California from the union. Singam said California doesn't have much in common with the rest of the country. He declared, "This is California. We're not the United States."
The Calexit proponent also said it is a "good thing" that the middle class is fleeing the state because it will make room for the "new wave" of immigrants. Singam told Carlson that "the United States" should be thanking "us" for "exporting" the state's middle class to the rest of the country.
"If everyone in the middle class is leaving, that's actually a good thing. We need these spots opened up for the new wave of immigrants to come up. It's what we do," Singam told Carlson.

It is clear that if California could print their own currency they could make every poor person (and then millions of poor people “immigrating” into the state) rich.
What could possibly go wrong? ;-)
Ignorant or ideologues. CA talks big. I’ll believe CA is serious when it refuses to suck off the federal teat. That would get them more autonomy immediately. Let’s see if they put their money where their mouths are...
If they exit future maps will just say “nuclear test area—stay out”...

I suggest they get rid of any of the conservatives that still live there, then bring in all of the immigrants they want, from foreign lands, along with the illegals in middle America.
Nothing would be more satisfying than watching Hollywood pay for all of this!

This comes from not understanding anything about finance, economics, national infrastructure, trade and international relations, central banking, a federal structure or government, or the need for a military.
How will they create their own currency? Banking system? Defense? Fund anything at all? Do they think they will become some vision of an America that exists in their own lefty collectives?
No. They will become an overrun chaotic state resembling the ME right now with warring factions ripping it apart.

The simple minded feel it "getting hotter", but the media and the left refuse to even allow them to consider any explanation other than man made causes.
They HAVE to get rid of the Middle Class. The Middle Class remembers how things were, they’re the ones who revolt, they’re the danger to the new “Overlords” who will control the new “Serfs”. Poor people don’t revolt, they’ve always been poor and can’t conceive of anything different.
