EXCLUSIVE: Kellyanne Conway May Be The Next Communications Director
Daily Caller ^

Posted on 07/31/2017 5:07:34 PM PDT by springwater13

There is chatter within the White House that Kellyanne Conway is being looked at as the next communications director, a source within the White House told The Daily Caller.

Anthony Scaramucci was ousted Monday as communications director following a week of publicly feuding with former chief of staff Reince Priebus. Scaramucci called Priebus a “paranoid schizophrenic” in an interview President Trump viewed as inappropriate, according to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

...the minute (McCains) thumb went down ,

Exactly. I suspect it was understood that Reince could be a key liason with Congress and if it did not work....."You're Fired".

It's comical that firings in the first stages of running the most important office on planet earth are "chaotic". Hey, it's what he does.

Fox's leggy Kimberly Guilfoil hints Priebus was one of the leakers. His relationship with Ryan and congress reinforces the charge, but I never thought so.

Ann Coulter or Milo Yiannopolous or Ben Shapiro. Someone that can quickly turn the fake news media over on their heads, literally in Ben’s case since he can speak fast.

I think Huckleberry is awful.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is awful?

She's doing a great job, hands down...

SHS is doing a great job, I totally agree. But watching her do it is difficult. She keeps on twitching her mouth to the left when she talks. Every few seconds, there it goes. Sarah? Stop that!!!

Can’t imagine why she would want to deal with the hassle. Doesn’t matter what she would say or not say. The story lines have all been written.

I’ve seen him say in interviews that he didn’t like candidate Trump. He’s warmed up to President Trump.

Not totally far fetched. I’d put it this way:

Trump and his team knew that they didn’t personally know enough “Trump people” who were qualified for all the jobs. Not even close. They knew they’d have to rely on Swamp People for some of the work. Perhaps they thought that Trump’s success would also convert some. That happened with Reagan, who completely won over Jim Baker.

I think it was always in the cards to begin shuffling out the jokers and moving in reliable Trumpers.

I think Kellyanne would be a great choice.

She is smart, loyal, articulate, stays on message, and can debate and has debated the most imbecilic liberal out there.

I don’t know what’s happened to Drudge lately.

Why is he treating The Washington Post as though it were a legitimate news source?

This rag has been caught in numerous fake news stories, and yet, Drudge makes it a top headline.

Fr. Rutler is not just some average priest. He is one of the best homilists I've ever heard in the Catholic Church, a very pious man, a wonderful confessor, and not someone who will lob in softballs. I would NOT be surprised if this had some impact on President Trump, and it could have solidified his trust in Bannon as well. Indeed, it's worth nothing that Fr. Rutler released an an awesome piece on Trump's Warsaw speech.

Wondering about bolded, is Bannon Catholic? I know Melania is. BTW I like your speculations and they sound logical and likely.

Yes, indeed Bannon reportedly made rounds in 2014 in the Vatican with several conservative reps, including Cardinal Burke.

I would encourage you to read a few stories on this topic, which personally helps explain quite a lot of what I'm seeing in this White House.

Conway has been the de facto Communications Director for the White House since the inauguration. She is a highly effective communicator, despite the grief she receives from the rabid anti-Trump press. Might as well make it official.

I agree. I wholeheartedly endorse Kellyanne Conway as the next Communications Director for President Trump. Will be fun to watch more liberals' heads explode!

“The left will just love this, sadly. They haven’t forgotten their “alternative facts” gaffe.”

I completely disagree!

Kellyanne Conway is the very last person the left would love to see as communications director. Their attempt to brand her as gaffe-prone is laughable and a total fail.

Even a leftist (if you could find an honest one) would have to admit Kellyanne comes across as a highly articulate and razor-sharp debater.

She makes VERY few mistakes in her lightening fast and unscripted responses, even in the most hostile interview situations where the scumbag show hosts are doing everything they can to trip her up.

Did you read the last part of what I wrote? I did say she could overcome the slings and arrows the left is obviously going to throw at her. And that would include the unfortunate “alternative facts”.
