Daily Caller ^

Posted on 07/31/2017 5:07:34 PM PDT by springwater13

There is chatter within the White House that Kellyanne Conway is being looked at as the next communications director, a source within the White House told The Daily Caller.

Anthony Scaramucci was ousted Monday as communications director following a week of publicly feuding with former chief of staff Reince Priebus. Scaramucci called Priebus a “paranoid schizophrenic” in an interview President Trump viewed as inappropriate, according to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

I would like to see that, but everyone knows Trump hates women and would never hire a woman for any position at all!

But is that a step down from her current position? I’m not sure what the West Wing pecking order is but didn’t she turn down the Communications Director spot at the very beginning?

That would be “her ‘alternative facts’ gaffe”. The left will be playing that non-stop.

Yes, libs love to chum the waters and attempt to get some reaction... that is unless the DC does have a chatty source.. who knows .. I suppose gossiping about the White House chatter is less offensive than the never ending lies about Russia Russia Russia.

Kellyanne Conway May Be The Next Communications Director

She seems very intelligent and articulate, and down to earth. The question is...is she willing to put up with all the Bullshit that goes with the job?

This position needs someone of great strength and emotional steadiness.

The ladies tire out too easily.

She’s been his Joan of Arc from her first day on his team. She is to be thanked for the part she played in saving this nation from a Clinton Disorder. If she wants the job, give her the job and three times the pay.

I respect and admire her, she would be great for the job but she’s probably overqualified. She’s much more valuable as advisor to President Trump.

I'm sensing that Gen. Kelly and Kellyanne, and Bannon, (and Jared, Ivanka's submission to Kelly) signals a much more organized White House...one that DjT may be ready to accept.

Kelly's modus operandi would be to ask Donald: 1) what's your goal ? 2) how do we get there ? Mooch cost you in several ways, turning a huge positive into a nasty negative. (unless his job was to provoke Priebus & Spicer to quit)

These new staffers will help DjT see how it's done and how it's NOT. It doesn't mean he can't tweet but trust and consult your peeps before going off half-cocked.

Kellyanne's group knows what's important with voters...she'd be great.

As recently posted, there are now reports of Bible studies at the White House. That's interesting, in and of itself.

However, in early January, a story came out that Kellyanne Conway reportedly took Donald Trump to meet Father George Rutler, the Anglican convert priest and pastor of the Church of St. Michael in Mahattan, who blessed the future president just days before his election.

Fr. Rutler is not just some average priest. He is one of the best homilists I've ever heard in the Catholic Church, a very pious man, a wonderful confessor, and not someone who will lob in softballs. I would NOT be surprised if this had some impact on President Trump, and it could have solidified his trust in Bannon as well. Indeed, it's worth nothing that Fr. Rutler released an an awesome piece on Trump's Warsaw speech.

OK, tin foil hat time...maybe Bannon and Kellyanne and Trump had this planned out all along, i.e., they KNEW there were forces in and out of the Trump Transition team that would keep things locked up for a LONG time. They knew it would be hard to get anything done with McLame and Linda et al around. Perhaps, this trio of people who trusted each other during the election (and who's trust grew deeper each day) decided to keep things close to the vest. Then, deploy RINOs and various Swamp Critters in the Cabinet as bait to flush various Deep Staters out in the open, using Twitter as "cheese in the maze" to rile up and confuse people in the media (and Swamp citizens in the adminstration). In the meantime, start racking up wins via Executive Order and other levers at your disposal.

After the Deep Staters reveal themselves as enemies, BAM! - spring the bear trap, clean house, and start preparing for the siege in the fall.

Far-fetched? Possibly. But...God has changed the hearts of men with more "locker room talk" under their belt than Trump. This President plans things three or four steps ahead of everyone else, and he doesn't trust just anyone. If Kellyanne gets the job, I'm convinced it was planned months ago, and the reactions we'll see tomorrow are designed to beget WINNING in the future.

As we used to say in the 1980s, this is totally bitchin'.

The guy was a nut case. Maybe he has some personal issues, I don’t know. But I’m surprised he was hired.

And for those FReepers who liked him because he was an “attack dog,” I would point out that so am I somewhere in the middle of my 3rd Beefeater’s gin & tonic. I can guarantee my interactions press would be highly confrontational with the press and entertaining.

But that doesn’t mean I’d be a good communications director.

I agree, Katrina a better choice. Put Huckabee in the back office, make Conway Communication Director.
