Sure, sue city hall. That always works out well.

The victim’s should sue the Sheriff’s department first, naming the booking officers at the time of the release in the suit.

I don’t know if they would win or not, but it would scare the shit out of the jail personnel (who are always underpaid, patriotic Americans). Booking would then revolt and absolutely refuse to release any more immigrants with ICE detainers.

I’ve seen this happen with some County jails and sex offenders with Parole holds. Worked pretty well.

Basically, once the jail staff becomes more afraid of lawsuits than the Sheriff, you win.

Portland seems to lose a lot of lawsuits. And they have so many they might forget to show up - then you win by default.

THESE CRIMINALS MUST THINK WE ARE FREAKIN’ IDIOTS!

THEY TELL ALL THEIR FRIENDS “COME ON- YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT- YOU MIGHT GO TO JAIL BUT THEN THEY JUST LET YOU GO WHEN THEY FIND OUT YOU’RE ILLEGAL~!!”

These sanctuary city conspirators should have RICO act laws thrown at them. I’ll bet you will even find meetings and conventions where hacks and police chiefs get together to exchange notes on their sanctuary cities. To discuss the mechanics of violating Federal immigration laws. Such as harboring illegal aliens

Make an example of them, vaporize the city. Repeat as necessary.

You should be ashamed that you wish harm on people who think differently than you. No one ever deserves to be assaulted.

Even if he weren’t an illegal alien, what would make a man like that show up for trial? Those are serious charges and he has no ties or assets.

You must be under the misapprehension that I am lucky enough to have my wishes granted. Trust this, nothing I ever contemplate will have any effect on any actual event.

My reply was (obviously) about hoping for just outcomes. It is unreasonable that an innocent should pay a price for the act of another who escapes unharmed. Charlie Gard shouldn't have had to pay with his life to sustain a system he had no hand in creating. It would have been better that a harm befalls the judge who ruled for Charlie's death.

Just the same with these two rape victims. It is patently unfair innocents should have to pay for the stupid votes of others. Too many support ridiculous and harmful government actions. It would serve justice that those who vote for clearly dangerous policies should be the only ones who suffer whenever predictable harms transpire.
