Looks to me like the Democrats have already selected their candidate for 2020.
Again with the Libs - who keep insisting WE ARE SUPPOSED TO JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR SKIN COLOR OR GENDER !! If that was not the case, then the character of the person and NOT their gender would be what always excited the Libs politically. But NO. Actually knowing Obama very little as he had such a little record to go on, they voted for him BECAUSE he was “black” and the most important thing to them about the scandal plagued Billary, Inc. was electing a “woman” (how do you call a couple a “woman”?).
Oh, it matters. And it would matter with Lyn’ Ted if he were a credible candidate. At the end of the day, we have a constitution. And, yes, Obama was an affirmative action president that was not qualified and we can all keep pointing that out. Doesn’t mean that wrong should be repeated or ever accepted or used as an excuse to further undermine the Constitution. (Do you tell your kids it is okay to do something just because they bring up an example of someone else doing it?)

Until the nation produces women of more character than Hillary, Nancy, Debbie, et. al., the voters of the United States will not elect electors pledged to vote for a woman.
The nation will not produce such women until it rejects the sense of entitlement and gender politics.
My sense is that until the nation rejects today’s Democrat Party in favor of the Democrat Party of Scoop Jackson, the nation will continue to produce nitwit candidates who believe they are better than the rest of the people and who also believe the laws do not apply to them.

Hillary spent over a year screeching that men don’t treat women fairly. If that’s true, why would anyone in their right mind vote for a woman to deal with Putin, Saudi Arabia, China, Iran and other countries with male leaders.
If not true, nobody should vote for someone who continually lied.
We’ll have a female president when the right one runs. And that one almost certainly will not claim her gender is a liability.
Joy has her information inaccurate as well. In Canada, Kim Campbell was chosen at at Progressive Conservative party convention in 1993 to succeed Brian Mulroney as leader (and as Prime Minister). Three months later in October 1993, she and the PCs suffered the worst defeat in Canadian electoral history (whittled down from majority government to just two seats nationwide). There has been no female prime minister since.
