Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said "it is time to move on" in a floor speech early Friday after the stunning defeat of the GOP's scaled-down plan to repeal key parts of ObamaCare.
McConnell seemed close to choking up during brief remarks on the floor after falling short of his promise to repeal ObamaCare after three GOP senators voted against the "skinny" repeal bill.
McConnell called GOP efforts to repeal ObamaCare "the right thing for the country," despite their final efforts to push for repeal being unsuccessful.

McConnell rallied Republicans saying the repeal of Obama Care was the Senate’s number one priority.
He failed miserably, time to get a new leader who can get things done.
He is right, now enforce every aspect of the ACA and watch it implode.
The National Fire Your Senator Movement cannot get moving
soon enough.
Easy for this A-hole to say “move on” ...he, and his other A-hole associates are exempt from B.O.Care!
He is right though ...it’s time to MOVE ON ...as in out of office,
It’s time for Senator McConnell to move on.
The GOP senate must revisit and repeal and replace Obamacare, it’s too important to our lives and our economy to wave the White flag of defeat.
McConnell is waving the White flag of defeat and giving up to the Democrat Majority in the Senate.
Move on to what? What are they going to screw up now?
Time for some heavy duty executive orders about health care.
Easy for you to say McConnell. You’re not paying the bills.
Dear kentucky voters: Is the majority of you mentally ill?
Boehner predicted this earlier in the week, while refilling his flask. Cantor said they lied and never intended to repeal it. Now McCain does Soros’ bidding yet again.
McConnell needs to get a special category Oscar for his acting ability re: Obamacare.
Once the primaries are over, this is only going to get worse.
The President and the head of HHS can make a lot of Obamacare null and void. Now it’s time for them to do it.
Let’s see if they have the guts. My bet is they don’t/won’t.
“Hes hoping for government run health care insurance. That means healthcare rationing to the elderly and the disabled and those with preexisting conditions.”
Actually, he’s hoping for government run health care insurance. That means...continued massive corporate payoffs and donations to Senators and Congressmen in order to tweak the massive volume of arcane rules in their favor. More multi-multi-millions to the oligarchy and their families.
We need to bring back the guillotines.
President Trump and we have to get rid of Undocumented Democrats posing as Republicans in congress!
It’s time for McConnell, McCain, McCowsky, McCollins - and all the other McCucks to “move on” - as into the after-life, as in I PRAY TO GOD THESE TRAITORS ALL DROP DEAD!
President Trump supports EVERY reform of Obamacare. He just wants to sign something.
Honestly, that’s been the big failure here. Trump has given one speech that praised the bill (whatever bill it was) and he’s sent some tweets about the bills (whichever bill it was) and how great they were.
He’s never once spoken about any details in any of the bills. He’s never listed the specifics of what he wants. He did nothing to sell this to the American people.
Fundamentally, I don’t think he wanted to learn the details of any of these bills, because it’s all terribly boring.
He outsourced this completely to Ryan and McConnell with no real direction aside from “give me a bill to sign.”
And here we are.
Of course McCONell wants to move on as they never intended to repeal Ocare to begin with and I’ve always said that! You can’t take away a WELFARE program from the Serf/wards of the State/Slaves once given! While we the tax payers get F’d with the Bill!!!
Thanks to the Awan brothers, it's apparent that the Deep State Soros/Obama/Hillary cabal has the Republicans by the b*lls and can direct them how to vote, at will. THE DEEP STATE'S BLACKMAIL MACHINE IS STILL ALIVE AND WELL DURING THE ERA OF TRUMP.
