The mainstream media are doing their best to ignore a bizarre, serious, and colorful story, but it's not going to work. The Awan family Pakistani I.T. consultant ring extracted 4 million dollars from Democrats in the House; its point man, Imran Awan, was arrested on bank fraud charges at Dulles Airport attempting to flee back to his homeland; and allegedly (Awan's lawyer disputes this), there was a pile of smashed hard drives and other equipment found at a house he owned and leased out to a Marine.
Peculiarly, Awan's primary employer, former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, kept him on her staff until just before he attempted to flee, even though he had been banned from the House network owing to corruption investigations and was unable to perform the work for which he is being paid from taxpayers funds.

I noticed something interesting.
According to articles, Awan is now 37, but he’s been working for Debbie and/or the DNC and other reps beginning in 2005.
At that time he would have been only 25 years old.
So, how does a Paki national worm his way into a key job at such a young age without undue influence being exerted on his behalf?
Sounds a bit like Huma’s rise to prominence right out of college, doesn’t it?
The other men involved were cousins. I believe. Definitely close relatives of one sort or another.
This guy was the ring leader. They ALL were paid upwards of $150K...similar to Cong. Staff Managers, which they were not. They were seldom seen by other staffers wandering the corridors of power.
Awan did cash only business when collecting the rent of his several houses he owned in the D.C. area. Don’t know if Debbie W-S paid his salary in cash.
The John Batchelor Show had a good segment on this. He’s the only one with a national show covering this in depth that I know of.
It’s a third brother. The other two were canned.
The thing the democrats don’t want revealed is probably that they were not victims, they were willing accomplices. The Awan brothers are connected to Pakistani intelligence, which is a partner of China. For the entire time the Awan brothers worked for the democrats, the Pakistanis, Muslim Brotherhood, and China had access to all classified information that passed through Congress, which is almost all classified information. The democrats knew about it, and did nothing, so they had to have had an arrangement with the Pakistanis and/or China.
Other stories here today state DWS brotber is in charge of the investigation of this guy.
Speaking of Huma, where is she these days? There are sure a lot of folks falling off the face of the earth.
Ask Alexa.
Awan is a dam in Egypt (just like denial is a river there). :-)
I thought the headline read “Cracks developing in the ASWAN Dam.” Goodbye, Egypt!
I am sure he has a “drop dead” switch on this blackmail information. Probably, this is the only reason he is still alive.
Since DWS didn’t fire Awan back in March like the other dems did, it’s likely he had info that was unique to her, such as dirt related to her term as DNC chair, that he could use to continue extracting money from her.
Three other things:
Most people are missing the fact that the FBI was obviously watching Imran and his wife, as both were caught at the airport and he was arrested and charged with bank fraud. If most of us lied on a home equity loan, all that would happen is the bank could call the loan or sue to recover the money. Clearly the FBI was on alert and used this criminial charge to keep him from leaving the country.
Another thing no one is paying attention to is who Imran send the money to has been redacted from the affadavit. There’s a reason for this. THe Awans owned a dozen houses and over 20 businesses, it takes time to unravel all of this.
And finally, why did Imran decided yesterday was the time to flee to Pakistan? Might he have detected signs that the web was closing in on him, especially after last week’s revelation about the smashed hard drives?
This ain’t over...it’s hardly getting started.
Isn’t she trying to reconcile with the Weiner?
I think she said, “Well, he wasn’t physically unfaithful.”
3 brothers ... that we know of so far
Occams Razor suggests that DWS and the Dems were being blackmailed.
Or there was a contract
********************************************************************************
Or she let him use her computers for five months to access the networks he was banned from so he could remove traces of what he and his co-conspirators had been doing.
IIRC, his two younger "brothers" were 21 and 23.
Peter Smith - Haiti and the Clintons
Klaus Eberwein - Haiti and the Clintons
Monica Peterson - Haiti and the Clintons
Beranton J. Whisenant Jr. - the DNC and Debbie WS
Shawn Lucas - DNC Lawsuit Process Server
John Ashe - UN official who was going to testify about the Clintons
Seth Rich - DNC and Wikileaks LEAK
Michael Hastings
Andrew Breitbart
Joseph Rago
Renwick Haddow
Occams’ Razor says that the Awan brothers were behind the extraction of files from the DNC that ended up on WikiLeaks, helping kill Hillary’s coronation. Perhaps DW-S doesn’t want that exposed so as to remain alive?
The Awans had possession of DW-S’s computers and the iPad she used to access the DNC. An inside job by known crooks with access to her computer and log-in information requires no sophisticated hacking, no digital trail to anyone outside the DNC, no international conspiracy.
How can this possibility be ignored?
Look at all those people connected to the DNC, if someone were out there killing Democrats you would think the DNC would want it investigated..the silence speaks volumes..investigate the Clintons, end up taking a dirt nap
You forget Fort Marcy Park. 2 bullets in the back of the head is a perfect suicide.
Another candidate for Arkanicide or Kenyacide.
Any wagers on how long he will last?
