Can I suggest that this is absurd to talk about??? Jeff Sessions is AG. There’s no vacancy in that office. Why would he say there will be no hearing for a replacement??

A recess appointment is not going to happen, because the Senate is not going to formally recess - the same tactic they used with Obama to prevent a recess appointment to SCOTUS.
