Anthony Scaramucci appears to be mimicking all of Donald Trump's gestures in a new viral video.

The footage, from The Daily Show shows clips of the new White House communications director, and the president side by side as they address a crowd.

The cleverly edited clip shows both men performing eerily similar gestures as they speak.

Even down to the moment where Trump blew a kiss to reporters, which Scaramucci repeated hours after being appointed to his new job.

'The Mooch did his homework,' the show tweeted.

Televised briefings are BACK after Spicer's exit says...

Could 'Mooch' shove Reince out the door? Newly minted...

Conspiracy theorists suggest Scaramucci may have learned to mimic the president in an effort to subconsciously gain Trump's approval, landing him the new job.

Or perhaps both men simply have a strikingly similar oratory style.

That video is wild!

I know I’ve picked up on some favorite expressions of former bosses and used them, not really to curry favor but because it improves communication.

It’s called “mirroring” and all successful salesmen use this technique to make their potential customers feel comfortable with them and like them. Subordinates also use it with their superiors for the same reason. Some think it’s disingenuous behavior and perhaps for some it is, but for others it’s just one tool of persuasion among many.

“Code switching” to pick up on the accent of your audience is another. Some do it unconsciously out of empathy, others try and fail as so amply demostrated by twice failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who is looking pretty “tard” along about now.

Cool with me. Saramucci is the best thing to come out of the White House since Trump himself. I LOVE that he fired one of the workers today. He is not going to take any crap from anybody.

Standard issue NY NY hand and arm signals.

They haven’t changed much over the years, either. I always knew when a fellow Marine was from NY NY by his hand talk.

Did you see him eviscerate Tapper Dickerson and Wallace last weekend? It was like the bullet ducking in the matrix. Every shot they took just went by while he artfully dodged it. Each and every one of the interviewers was crestfallen at the end of the interview. Not a single blow landed. He topped it all off by rolling some grenades under their seats all politely.

If, and I know it is a big if, he stands by the populist message there is a Zombie Apocalypse army at his back. If he wrongs us... I am sure his brains are tasty.

I had a client do it to me. Once I became aware, I was uneasy and suspicious.

If it’s blatantly obvious they’re not very good at it and it does raise suspicion. I had a sales guy once, just badgered the heck out of me, I was a buyer and he just would not leave me alone. He’d do that to the extreme. I finally started doing ridiculous stuff just for amusement to watch him do it. I swear if I’d have picked my nose he’d have picked his.

Subordinates doing it is rather more successful, most are flattered and it does communicate that one onboard with the team.
