POTUS SLAMS SESSIONS AGAIN: He Endorsed Me Because of Big Crowds, Not Loyalty

In a brief interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Trump ripped into Attorney General Sessions once again. This time, the President cut even deeper, suggesting Sessions endorsed him because of Trump’s success as a candidate, not out of loyalty.

President Donald Trump  expressed his disappointment in Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday and questioned the importance of Mr. Sessions’s early endorsement of Mr. Trump’s candidacy, but the president declined to say whether he planned to fire him.

“It’s not like a great loyal thing about the endorsement,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I’m very disappointed in Jeff Sessions.”

While the President is still mum on his plans concerning Sessions, Scaramucci told NBC News a decision on the AG’s future will be made ‘shortly.’

-- Nobody seems to remember this, but it's the second one that originally prompted Sessions to tell the U.S. Senators (in his confirmation hearing) that he'd recuse himself from any investigation related to the campaign. --

I remember this because I recently read the transcript.
Sessions Confirmation Hearing - January 10, 2017

Sessions told Grassley he would recuse from Hillary e-mail and Clinton Foundation cases because he'd said things that would be taken as showing him to be biased.

With regard to cases involving the Trump campaign, Durbin asked a hypothetical, and Sessions said he didn't think he would have to recuse if the campaign came under investigation, never having said anything about it, but he would consult with the conflict experts at DoJ and would follow the regulations.

Franken's Russia question is a smokescreen masking the real reasons for recusal. Both recusals would have happened whether the Franken/Russia fiction (that Sessions lied in the hearing, therefore Sessions might actually be involved with Russia) surfaced, or not.

The recusal regulation prohibits taking cases where the prosecutor has a FRIENDLY relationship with the defendant.

You’d know more about it if you knew when and why Trump first met Manafort.

So what happens when you have a crooked president like Barkey and Slick Willie? How does it shake out then? You have a logic fallacy.

The AG is nominated. It is the senate that confirms. The AG works for the people.

Maybe this is Trump setting up a choice for Congress. They can either have Sessions as AG, or they can have the Mueller investigation. Because one or the other is going to be terminated.

No, it doesn't make sense. No, it isn't fair to Sessions. But that's the deal.

DoJ will go on and continue to work for the people, just as FBI does with Comey gone. The guy at the top is disposable.

I am not endorsing this deal, I think it's a radically imbalanced trade, and I think Congress will pick Mueller, gladly.

*The AG works for the people*

Uh... didn’t look like it under holder, lynch, reno... they ALL served the president ... criminally and defiantly against the people... and got by with it.. it served obama’s and clinton’s bad act very well.. even congress thought it was okay to skirt the law and invent a way to have it all.

You don’t think Holder was corrupt? How about Lynch? You think Janet Reno was working for the people?

The people don’t choose the AG. The AG doesn’t report directly to us. We cannot dismiss the AG at will, any time we like.

Grassley’s slogan makes a nice soundbite but it’s not reality.

Sessions told Grassley he would recuse from Hillary e-mail and Clinton Foundation cases because he'd said things that would be taken as showing him to be biased.

This right here would be sufficient reason to remove Sessions. It explains why Sessions is not doing anything whatsoever to the DNC, because he might be "taken as biased."

It's completely retarded and means he is useless as AG, because what is needed is someone who will go after the Dems.

Bias on the left and media is what is destroying us ... it’s time to fight fire with fire.. this side can’t be the only one who is ‘by the book’ fair and honest.. that’s how to lose it all.

Forget going by the book... get em and get em before they finish their goal of taking out our duly elected President who is our only hope!

I am thinking Cruz and Christie are both hesitant to put themselves on the front lines with the media and the Deep State acting like rabid RATs. If I had their great experience, I would take great pleasure on the front lines because my sacrifice would benefit humans in the future. We must crush the Left wing because history has proven it to a system of holocaust that will leech the greatness of America and take humans back to the stone age. I am not exaggerating when I say holocaust with these parasites.

If Cruz or Christie saw the danger that lies ahead for America, how will they be measured, chickens or patriots? If they can’t see the danger, we can’t have America led by blind men. If these prospects see the danger and evade the call, they will have shrugged the call of history and the call of their country. Justice would weigh them criminally guilty. In my book, where I would measure them cannot be printed here.

You're so nuts, wrong about everything, and you continue to make a fool of yourself in every post. How often you embarrass yourself.

Keep going. This is almost fun, and would be if you weren't so fricking crazy.

Agreed. It is unfortunate.

Then again, for swamp creatures like TBP, Trump threatens their livelihoods of being foreign agents, etc

Dana Perino (yeah I know) just had a really great idea. President Trump should take an hour each day and call in to radio shows across the country and just talk to the people.
