On many issues, Rudy is a liberal. Sessions is a solid conservative. Sessions gave up his senate seat to become Trump’s attorney general. Sessions supported Trump early on when most people didn’t take Trump’s candidacy seriously. Sessions is quietly getting the job done. The left wants Sessions gone. If Trump dumps him, he will be doing exactly what the left wants.

What is the practical result of having a “solid conservative” as AG?
Chasing around potheads to make it look like he’s doing something?
As far as I can tell, “solid conservative” means absolutely nothing in practice.

Why would they? Sessions is exactly where the left wants him — out of the picture, where it counts most. Democrats run the Justice Department and so far the FBI.
The Left wants Sessions exactly where he is now. In charge of the DOJ and already gave up most of his power for no specific reason. Sessions may be a great guy. who cares. He has to do the job. Start Grand jury(s) into CF, Hillary, Comey, Mueller, Huma, IT Bros., etc, etc.., etc. DWS should be in this group also. They will scatter like cockroaches and then Sessions could take his time. Needs to go on Offense.
By going into hiding and doing absolutely nothing to de-politicize the DOJ or prosecute Hillary and Huma, Sessions is at this very moment doing exactly what the left wants.

Thank you for your post. I completely agree. I made another post before this one. I and a lot of folks around here are not going to like losing our Senator and now he gets canned as AG! I am not going to like it one freaking bit. Trump cans Senator Sessions, Trump can kiss my next vote goodbye.
