Anthony Scaramucci: Breitbart ‘Captured the Spirit’ of America
Breitbart ^ | July 22,2017 | Charlie Spiering

Posted on 07/22/2017 12:02:54 PM PDT by Hojczyk

As a former Wall Street financier, Scaramucci explained that he spent time during the campaign connecting directly with President Donald Trump’s supporters, realizing that they were just like his friends and neighbors in Long Island, NY, where he grew up.

“It was the president that showed me, who grew up in a middle-class area like that, what was going on in my own hometown,” he said.

Scaramucci discussed the challenges in his new job, including the ongoing fight against fake news in the mainstream media. He reminded Trump supporters that it was possible to go beyond the mainstream media as they did during the campaign.

“We’re having a rough time with the mainstream media, but last time I checked during the campaign we were having a rough time with the mainstream media and the people see through it,” he said.

Scaramucci publicly thanked Breitbart News for helping expose fake news stories like the CNN story about him that was ultimately retracted.

Part of his strategy, he explained, was to tighten up an “unfiltered message” that would “penetrate through that shell” of the media. He also said he would work with the media to “deescalate” the relationship and treat the administration fairly.

“You can look at it objectively, frankly, and see that it isn’t fair right now,” Scaramucci said.

He said the administration would continue to fight to fulfill the president’s campaign promises, including major initiatives on tax reform, health care, and border security.

“We have a list of campaign promises that are up on Steve Bannon’s wall and we’re going right through those campaign promises and so that we can tell the American people that we are citizen politicians … we’re not career politicians or establishment players that just want to sit in Washington and milk the system,” he said.

I don’t know about this source, but there is what looks like encouraging news within the long article.

Trump needs to surround himself with people like this. This includes Sessions and the rest in the Senate and House.

No more cry babies or milk toasts like Ryan and Graham and the others. Stand up and be proud of your president like Scarammuci is.

ONE OF THE BEST PRESS CONFERENCES I’VE EVER SEEN. THE GUY WAS WONDERFUL. IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT, YOU SHOULD. THE ENTIRE THING.

People did not like where things were going economically and nobody but Breitbart was willing to explore issues that were in other outlets a “done deal.” The new job as Communications director for this White House is going to be very tough and I hope that he avoids theorizing and instead keeps a laser focus on what is real.

It’s probably going to be hard to avoid just bypassing “what everyone knows” is the consensus about how deals are going to go (which don’t serve Trump well at ALL!) and to instead dig in and see where conditions that exist on the ground are going to take you.

God bless, and good luck!

Agree is was excellent. He stood his ground, said some new and warmly personal experiences of his watch DJT. And the guy’s personal style is direct and refreshing.

He thinks like Trump, and I think that’s a plus in interpreting Trump to the press.

Let’s just hope the Fake News does more listening from now on. If they don’t, they are going to feel the heat.

I like the guy in this position.

Yet, we need to keep in mind he’s not a conservative. He’s a Republican, yes, but not a conservative.

In 2008 he supported Obama and was a fund raiser for him. In 2012 he switched to Romney. 2016 he was for Walker, then Jeb before supporting Trump.

He has called himself a non-ideological guy in saying why he supported Obama and then Romney.

“He thinks like Trump”

And he communicates like Trump. Brash. Honest. Most people like that. The George Wills and Krauthamers of the world get the vapors, but that’s OK. Let them retire to their pink brocade fainting couches; real people admire real men.

From Breitbart:

WH Communications Director After Sandy Hook: ‘I Have Always Been for Strong Gun Control Laws’

This troubles me greatly; also his stance on gay rights and climate change; I'll be watching and listening.

The guy has plenty of swagger. A gerbilist would ask him a question and he would state he didn’t want to answer it, then point to another gerbilist. I wondered: Why don’t they all do that?

Sociopaths are always smart, charming and convincing. But just as quick as a dime they can switch to act just as charming for the other side of an issue or to betray the person who they represent.

Read about this guy’s history. I worry about him.Is he one?

I just worry that he’s one of the crowd that got us into the mess we are in to begin with, thanks to being way too accepting of consensus about matters political. He was for Romney. He was for Jeb!. I’m all about trying to strike the best realistic deal that you can, but Jeb!... really?

If this guy backs Trump and attacks Rinos and Libtards for the next 7 1/2 years he’ll have my vote for President in 2024.

I didn't know much about Scaramucci, although I have learned more in the last few days (mostly from reading about him here).

But I did watch the press conference, and I was extremely impressed with his performance. I think he will do a great job for Trump, his past positions and comments not withstanding.

AND if he is a Sociopath, he will take away guns, tear down wall and raise funds for Maxine Waters.

Do not be so naive.

Politics is blood sport and there are few Churchills out there.

I hope the information in the article at the link is accurate, BUT: Sorcha Faal is NOT a reliable source and, in fact, has in the past proven to be a conduit of disinformation.

Also, the article was simply a fundraising appeal from 2 months ago. I’ll add that there is a lot of linguistic manipulation in the crafting of the appeal.

I have no doubt of Trump’s intellect, connections and acumen. If one of his personal/business legal advisors is the same same firm that boasts Lieberman and Muellar among their partners, that gives me serious pause. It just does not compute that that firm would be part of Trump’s so-called Fathomless Federation.

I cannot help but translate Fathomless Federation:

Unknowable Coalition
Mystery League
Abyssal Association
et al

Just sayin’

“AND if he is a Sociopath, he will take away guns, tear down wall and raise funds for Maxine Waters.”

We’ll have to see, but I don’t think people back Trump on whims. There’s too much hate out there from people with TDS.
