Newly appointed White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci has posted his support for stringent gun-control laws a position that would be at odds with President Trumps views.
I have always been for strong gun control laws, Scaramucci tweeted after the December 2012 shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., in which 20 kids were gunned down.
In August 2012, he tweeted: We (the USA) has 5% of the worlds population but 50% of the worlds guns. Enough is enough. It is just common sense it apply more controls.

I watched his press meeting, and I think the tweet was a reflexive comment by someone who doesn’t know much about guns and who saw a terrible tragedy.
I believe he could adopt the NRA position for stronger punishment for gun crimes if he had good guidance.
In any case, I don’t see how a communications director will have much influence over 2nd Amendment policy.
I liked what I heard.
you’re fired!
Politics is totally unprincipled. Flip flopping is part of the business. Not risk free, of course.
I agree, and he has a completely logical rationale for doing so by pointing out that the tradition conflict of interest standards were totally ignored by Mueller when he accepted the SC job, and with all the hirelings he's taken on.
Sessions should not be the only official in DC abiding by conflict of interest standards.
And Sessions is currently doing everything he can to implement Trump's agenda at the DOJ, far more so than some other cabinet members.
The “blowing a kiss” was to Acosta of CNN, and Scarmucci said that is the ONLY thing Acosta will get from him in the next 8 years.
Well, it’s not his job to be nattering on about gun control, so I’m not going to panic yet.
At least he knows to wear a dark blue suit and speak in a tone and pitch that others, besides dogs, can hear.
Forming another little conspiracy theory already? He’s only had the job for less than an hour, lol!

My two Bosses! Btw my political views don't matter I serve @POTUS pay attention to his!
The truth about this guy will come out in the end and none of us want to be spun anything untrue from anyone anymore.
Why would Trump appoint a gun control wacko as Communications Director? Bizarre.
Maybe he changed his mind? Have you ever changed your mind about anything? People are allowed to do that.
I watched the half hour or so presser with Scaramucci. Hoft's characterization of "thrashing" the press is false, and the other networks saying he was kissing up are false too. We are never going to get accurate reporting, from anybody. If it matters to you, research it yourself.
He did a good job, but he's not going to be the Spokesman. He's communications director.
WTF is Trump thinking w this guy?
Its a fact. Not a conspiracy
. Look up what he has to do within 30 days of the closing on his company..which got delayed...for undisclosed reasons.... so that this would fit into the time frame to save him millions
Btw..I dont have a problem with him saving money..and it would explain why he took a job he is over qualified for
He may want yellens job in the future
ha ha ha
Gun grabber / swamp creature bump for later...
Oops..its within 60 days. I am not familiar with the fine details of the IRS law governing the need to get this gig to save millions. It has to do with a wealthy person selling assets to avoid conflict of interest. He had to get a WH gig.
And it is not a conspiracy. It is an IRS provision
....I believe he could adopt the NRA position for stronger punishment for gun crimes if he had good guidance....
I believe he will bend whichever way the wind blows. His only claim to fame is getting 3 CNN employees fired. He reminds me of pajama boy Ossoff.
Have you ever changed your mind about anything?
