Mayo clinic on McCain says his procedure "revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot."
#BREAKING McCain has a brain tumor. Will continue to be out for a while. Reviewing treatment options. Could include chemotherapy

Per our convo the other day...we were right, it seems.
[ Oh geeze, i though the exact same thing....
I do not wish him this, but I believe he should have left Washington a long time ago. ]
Perhaps we dodged a bullet when Obama won, who knows what the added stress of being president would have done to accelerate the cancer and what crazy crap the extra pressure / loss of brain cells would have done to his sanity....
Oh poor Lindsey...how will he cope???
Looking at this logistically though, until and unless he resigns, the Republicans have one less vote in the senate at this critical time.
A friend from school days posted on FB that he heard it on the news.
Fox News, too...
She is 33. Too young fortunately.
Therefore, he won't. He will likely try and die on the job, doing as much damage as possible to the last minute.
Good thing he has obamacare.................oh wait he is exempt from it and will get the finest healthcare in the land. Nice for him, us we die in pain eating dirt.
Bottom line: two year survival rates are good, but only with aggressive radiation and chemotherapy. He cannot do that and stay in office. If he doesn’t quit he is limited to a few months.
So the question becomes who will AZ governor Doug Ducey select as his replacement?
Sorry to hear, especially since my 84 year old Mom just last week was told her Uterine cancer though caught in time has spread to her liver/lung. Now my 88 year old Father in all likelihood has lung cancer (never smoked a day in his life)
I’ll say no more other than a certain SC Senator will be feeling real lonely soon, he will be powerless.
Morphine? Does brain cancer hurt?
____________
Something growing and expanding and changing blood and cerebrospinal fluid flows...in your head.
Hell yes!
Prayers sent for the man and his family.
Don’t like him politically, though I voted for him against Obama.
But he needs to retire and spend time with family and friends.
Way to keep it classy.
A man is dying. He’s been a real asshole, for sure, but show some class. If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. We don’t want to represent FR like it’s DU.
That’s right. They all have super solid gold Cadillac health insurance which they have granted themselves and exempted the dirt people they lord over from acquiring.
Although I can sympathize with the senator’s difficulties, perhaps others of that ilk will pause to understand the burdens they have inflicted upon us.........not.
Yes. Excruciating headaches. Headaches are often the first symptom of brain cancer.
“Meghan is a LOT MORE Conservative than her dad!”
Holy cow! Deprogramming alert on aisle #32!
Brain cancer is often accompanied by swelling in the brain. The scull is not able to expand so there can be a great deal of pain. It is a terrible diagnosis. I lost a beloved family member to this.horrible disease.
If he is lucky.
Glioblastoma? 50% the first year. Maybe a better outcome if you're young. McCain is not young.
