The USFL came around too early. Guess who owned one of the teams? Donald J. Trump(New Jersey Generals). Even back then he was taking on Establishments in bold ways. Trying to “make football great again!”

Everyone knows his balls were underinflated and one of the guys who handled them fooled around with them in the bathroom.

It is against NFL regs to play in the NFL with soft balls.

I did notice that fact. That one of the espn channels was in Hispanish. I’d didn’t watch those maricons/patos either.

It would have liked to see Aaron Judge hit that 500+ footer. And all those others.

Where is the evidence Tom Brady deflated the balls? You have none. Why aren’t the refs in charge of the balls anyways? Let them make sure they are up to specs. They handle the balls as well. Why weren’t they suspended for not detecting it? Boyles law states as temperatures go down so do gas pressures. Suspend Boyle as well.

Boyle’s Law is the one that does not involve temperature, just volume and pressure.

BTW. The only thing Spanish about me is the name of the revolver I shoot in SASS matches. That and my brothers kids are half PR.

Gay-Lussac’s Law then. I could’ve swore I heard Boyles Law on tv when this was hot news. You can’t trust them reporters to get anything right.

It was nice to see at the MLB All Star game last night, every player/manager standing at attention and showing respect, when appropriate.
= = = = = = = = = = = =
Amen...
I was a little ‘concerned’ when they were introducing the teams some(most) of the Latin players had their own ‘flag of origin’.
However when it came to the National Anthem they ALL were at attention or at least ‘unrelaxed’.

Again, I am all for having a ‘canned’ version of ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ as when trying to hit that ‘high note’ either they flub it or try to improvise...

As to the flags, they were more than appropriate when I figured out the ‘theme’ for the night...Is that something new- introducing the Latinos inducted in the Latino Hall of Fame OR was that a ‘Miami thing’?

Was also surprised at the lack of ‘remembrance’ for Jose Fernandez but I guess the drunk & drug use kind of put that on the back burner.

OH...when that young lad chose the Corvette over the pickemup truck, the thought of the next Jose Fernandez or James Dean raced through my head....

All in all a good game...IF you like basic baseball...

Can you imagine if Hillary won? Pro sports would have died INSTANTLY. Who do you think attend the games? Go out to the bars/taverns with friends and spending more money? I’ll give you a hint - it’s not the gibsmedats. It’s the white, working and middle-class folks who would have immediately retreated into their bunkers and prepared for the worst if Hillary would have won. Pro sports would have been the last thing on our minds.

My wife, also, commented positively re the players Star Spangle Banner behavior and how much each player really seemed to be having a great time playing.

She loved the kidding and show of respect/rapport of the team members with the opposing team members.

The pitching was incredible.

Th NFL sucks. It’s ballerina ball. New England wins all the time, too many rules, and awful announcing. Plus those awful “holiday” commercials and they don’t let you see the cheerleaders.

My BFF wrote a short poem to the NFL, and the NCAA, and ESPN:

Hit The FOAD!, Jack!

Sooo, you want me,
To go pee,
With a bunch of “chicks”,
Who have dicks???
GFY!!!

Yes it was!

It was nice to see at the MLB All Star game last night, every player/manager standing at attention and showing respect, when appropriate.

Including lots of Dominicans/Cubans/Venezuelans/Canadians who are not even US Citizens, showing more respect than NFL players, who were born here.

It’s a sport where the players can’t self police fruity celebration dancing and chest slapping displays. And what’s depressing is that the NFL only became even more popular after that dog squeeze really got going. Looking around at the broader culture that shouldn’t be surprising I guess.
